Very friendly/on turkey day the line was long, you have to present a photo ID/86 st.y west.end av
We held a family memorial here this past weekend and we rented the space for our event. We used two very large rooms, the service on one, food and refreshments in the other. We used the chapel and the parlor on the first floor. Bathrooms are readily available and the site is accessible with a ramp and an elevator for those who need it.The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. When we needed a mike/sound they made it available and set it up in minutes. The building has wi-fi, a television, two pianos, tables and chairs. If you’re looking for a location for your event, absolutely consider this site.
Amazing experience
I think this church is one of the secret treasures in NYC. It is expertly and lovingly shepherded by k. karpen. Fantastic, loving congregation. Can't say enough good things about it.
Received an award here.
Visted on invitation for a program. Not for religious purposes but the area inside was clean.
Nice kind people who were very positive
Awesome

K's email about how churches are very much still open, despite the pandemic, was excellent. We love SPSA.

It's a truly welcoming space.
The warmth, generosity, the intelligence behind the massive giving, the embracing and inclusion. I have been a member going back many pastors even before Ed Horne (wonderful man) and K Karpen (truly an angel on earth - to know him and be near his heart- makes you safe and cared for) I lived nearby on W E A and 84th St. for 29 years. I was married at this church. I moved to FL and then (and now) CT, but no Church ever entered my soul as SP & SA has and always will.

This pantry was one of the best. But it has changed considerably since the staff has changed. They really need some training in human interaction skills.
Very good church
