Espresso martini instructor didn't know what she was doing and kept arguing with the bar back as he corrected her recipes. Not professionally put together or worth it at all.

What an amazing experience. Every floor of the Starbucks Reserve was impressive, all the offerings amazing, and our barista Jeremy, provided us an educational and enriched coffee experience. We realized we didn't know that much about coffee, and the process for it to be served to us! Definitely would recommend this to anyone in the New York area (we're from California on vacation) wanting to enjoy an elevated coffee experience!!

Such a great little experience. Went for the PSL experience and had a really nice time. Clay was super friendly and made the experience fun and wonderful.

Customer service in restaurant was poor. Rude host. Meat and cheese dish overpriced for poor quality food.

Servers miserable. Didn't like being told to pay immediately because we had finished our drinks! Rude.

The atmosphere at the Starbucks Roastery was impressive, and the coffee and food were satisfactory. However, the customer service was unacceptable. We received dismissive looks and an attitude from the staff when we ordered our coffee at the main counter downstairs, and this worsened when I asked if I could scan my Starbucks app. When we went upstairs to request a table, we were told we had to order from the menu, which was expected. I requested a seat in the comfortable chairs by the window, but was informed that the dining room was closed. Instead, we were seated on stools by the door, overlooking the entryway. This was my last night in New York, and while I love the city, I am disillusioned by the poor customer service and the dismissive culture. There is an evident lack of respect for visitors and customers, which is disappointing. This experience left a negative lasting impression on NYC and the Starbucks Roastery. I can confidently say that the Tokyo location remains the best.

Unlike any Starbucks, I've ever been in, this seemed like
An expensive shop. They weren't as friendly as the ones i've been to in the south, but they were making a lot of effort to be efficient. And quick. This location had a large number of food.Items that looked yummy and ones.I've never seen another starbucks! We just had a drink and it was great.

Starbucks Reserve is, honestly, pretty overrated. The basement bar feels underwhelming, and the alcoholic cocktails were disappointing - definitely not worth the price. Even by New York standards, the drinks and service feel expensive for what you get. It’s more of a novelty stop than a place I’d return to for a drink.

This is only the reserve store and not the Roastery so don’t be fooled like we were! however still cool to experience if you are going to visit the Empire State Building. Downstairs they have a separate tasting room where you use your phone to order but they bring the food and drinks to your table. A little different but not bad. Got the tiramisu latte (says it comes with cold foam but the online ordering makes you pay another $2 for it and says “not available” when u select no extra cold foam. Raspberry cornetto is great, pear tart is also good. Some fun little souvenirs available on the main floor.

I only went to check on what food and merchandise they had. It wasn’t as packed as usual when I went so it was good. The place was clean and had a lot of cute merchandise.

Jeannie and Lexi, Sam, Christian and Jazz on the lower level made our (long) trip worth it. The love they put into the drinks as well as their craftsmanship were second to none! We will be back!

The location is great, and the lower level bar is decent. But if you’re trying to scale a quick stop, don’t do it here. Baristas aren’t professional, they’ll sit there gossiping and too busy to make a single drink that it takes them over 10 minutes to make a simple matcha latte that takes other locations 20 seconds to make. Don’t fall for this tourist trap.

First time visiting the Reserve, and man, those lavender blueberry donuts were busting. The food was solid, too. When you first walk into the Reserve it had a busy energy—then again, we’re in NYC.

I’m used to the calm, café–study hall vibe of a typical Starbucks. Much to my chagrin, this place has a lower level that’s super chill like a speak easy. This place has plenty of seating, and an actual barista bar.
