Delia has an attitude and rude to me just because I wasn’t hear what she say and ask her to say again. This is not the service pp should do to the customer, even you got a bad day.

The worst ever. Not busy at all when I went but still you could see the terrible layout full of bottlenecks at the till and excess staff tripping over each other in the service area. It is clear from reading other reviews my experience is not unique. Supervisors are aggressive when you bring it up. Literally screaming “complain to corporate!” So… Hey, Corporate? Your Penn Station experience is awful.

My experience started by walking into this location and placing an order with my fiancé. I ordered an iced caramel latte and she order an iced lavender matcha. I know she ordered this because she never stops talking about how excited she is for Starbucks to bring this drink back. Anyways our order came out 4 minutes or so after ordering which is completely normal. The order however was wrong when it came to her drink. We politely explained to the person giving out the drinks that she ordered something different than what they gave us. 10 minutes go by as we are waiting for a remake. I then ask politely again, “hey we ordered that remake it wasn’t forgotten was it?” (Something along those lines). They then pull out the drink. Same exact drink that was wrong before and say that it’s been ready. Same mistake is now made twice. They have no clue on what is going on back there. Takes another 5 minutes to make this drink. Finally get it, no apology, no nothing. In fact we kind of felt like the workers thought that we did something wrong lol. Overall we had to have waited nearly 20 minutes. I was finished with my drink 10 minutes before we left. By the way we were both late to work because of this experience.

I don’t know what to say. Never got the right coffee always had issues with my morning coffee and they like we don’t care. What a shame.

Horrible customer service at the cashier. Made a facial expression & rolled eyes at me, which made me feel bad from having a small talk from ordering.

As a former barista, I know things happen and can get stressful, so I try not to take it personally, but this experience genuinely made my day not pleasant.

Do not stop by at this location.
I recommend going to the one near the Amtrak station—it’s busier but offers much better, prompt service.
Or just go to other cafe/coffee places (there’s plenty especially in this area at Penn Station).

Don’t come here unless you have over 30 minutes. You will miss your train or be late for work. Even if they aren’t crowded, they take a very long time. Pret next to it is a million times better and super fast.

I’m not surprised they have such low ratings. 0 stars. I brought my Starbucks cup and I have a late train I don’t want coffee for night time but those location is not able to give you a hot water or hot tea. It is winter . Everywhere I came to Starbucks and it is never an issue to give hot water.

Was there tonight and the young lady making the beverages were deliberately slow. Patrons such as myself had to leave without our orders, because we had a train to catch. This is a transportation hub and expediency is necessary. I donated $4,75 to Starbucks. I will never patronage this location again. Poorly managed.
