The customer is always wrong. At least at this Starbucks location! I recently ordered a venti iced coffee via mobile order. When I got to the pickup station I asked if I could add a splash of 1/2 & 1/2. That's when I met Ariel, barista extrordin-nightmare. She flipped out! Anyway, I was advised that there is an additional cost to add 1/2 & 1/2 to an iced coffee. Which I was totally fine with. The drama and antics that ensued made this my worst Starbucks experience ever. Also, when did they start charging for a splash of 1/2 & 1/2? There are plenty of cafés in the area that offer creamers without serving bad vibes. May I recommend Gregorys, Blue Bottle (they have self serve 1/2 & 1/2), Think Coffee (they have a variety of self serve creamers). And of course Irving Farm, but it's a bit of a trek from 23rd/Park. Make sure you have a thick skin if you step in here. Be prepared to be yelled at!

I had a terrible experience here. I went to the coffee shop yesterday to buy coffee and to use some work on my computer. I went to the store with my Starbucks gift card and I paid for my coffee. I had a protein bar that I bought that got me sick.I brought the plastic container to the store.The barista and the manager assistant who was working that day refused to give me my refund or to replace the product. He also refused to call me the manager or the district manager as I requested.The worst of everything was that he treated me badly and I think he treated me with racism. I'm originally from Spain and I have a little accent when I speak English. I paid for my coffee and they told me that they didn't charge me for the coffee but they lied to me. I got charged for that coffee in my Starbucks Gold Card.They also didn't give me my refill even though I'm a Starbucks Gold Card Member. I was eating my lunch and drinking my coffee when by accident a little milk spilled around the floor,I offered to clean this milk that fell by accident but the lady told me not to worry and she sent someone.The manager assistant asked me to leave the store even though I was very kind, polite and respectful to them. It was also raining a lot and I got wet because of him.This is not the way the store should treat a good Starbucks customer. I think he did on -purpose to ask me to leave the coffeshop. He didn't care that was raining a lot in New York that day. He was also rude to me.

This place is UNDERSTAFF. The staff that they do have are inattentive and extremely incompetent. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a SIMPLE COLD BREW WITH OATMILK and waited for 20 mins and ended up canceling the order.If you’re in this area do yourself the favor and go to Blank Street instead which is a block away (same price range) and offer better quality and more gourmet options. This Starbucks runs like a zoo. The poor management is evident.

Renee is the manager there who insisted on charging me extra money for steamfor a Cafe Misto which is a steamed coffee. The steam is already included in the price. Ive been paying the same price everyday day for years but for some reason this lady smugly insisted on the extra charge today and I walked out without my coffee just on principle. The price should've been $4.63 but she trying to make me pay $5.50 As a manager she should know better!! Very disappointed!!

Came in the other day with an urgent need for a job interview - I wanted to bring them a recipe that called for a specific ingredient. I was lucky and the very understanding supervisor on duty, this was morning Friday, July 21, 2023, helped me out and gave me a tiny ingredient I was not able to find at a whole foods near by, and I was in a panic because my interview was soon. (I originally thought I had this ingredient, but my partner used the last one without telling me...) Again! Thank you so much in your support! Partners forever! I worked at Starbucks for six years, and I am always so happy to meet fellow partners and support eachother!

If you want lite ice, ask for half of the ice cup. There's NO restroom. There's only 1 bench area to sit; the rest are stools.Vegetarian options: They have nondairy milks available
