DISGUSTING CONDITIONS, HORRIBLE SERVICE & DISCRIMINATORY POLICIES – HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO INSPECT!

This Starbucks location is an absolute disgrace, and I am shocked that a reputable company like Starbucks would allow such poor standards to continue.

First, the cleanliness of this store is unacceptable. Tables were covered in crumbs and spills, the trash cans were overflowing, and the floors were so sticky it was nauseating. The milk and sugar station was filthy, covered in dried-up messes that looked like they had been sitting there all day. The bathrooms? Absolutely disgusting—dirty sinks, no soap, and a horrible smell.

On top of that, the customer service was atrocious. The employees were rude, dismissive, and acted like they couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs. I stood at the counter waiting to order while they ignored me, chatting among themselves. When I finally got service, I asked for help ordering food, and they refused to assist—just a blank stare and a bad attitude. My drink was made incorrectly, tasted awful (like expired milk), and at that point, I didn’t even bother asking them to fix it.

And now, let’s talk about their new discriminatory policies. No free water? No open-door policy? It’s clear that Starbucks is targeting specific communities with these changes, and this location is a prime example of how they are treating customers in culturally diverse areas. Instead of being welcoming, they are creating barriers and making it obvious who they do and don’t want as customers. It’s disappointing to see a company that once prided itself on inclusivity turning to these exclusionary tactics.

This location needs a health department inspection immediately because it’s clear that sanitation, food safety, and customer service are not priorities here. And Starbucks corporate should be ashamed of the direction they’re taking. Until they fix these issues, I will never be returning—and neither should anyone else.

Worst one ever. The lady was rude asf I was keep waiting to take my order but she was doing her thing and still waiting to pay but she ignored me. Walked out the store without my drink.

Shocking experience. Waited 20 mins for drink and it had been put in mobile order pile without us being advised. This was after they’d got our order totally wrong. No customer service and seemed to take delight in their rudeness and incompetence.

Nice friendly workers.Across from Grand Central Terminal 3rd Avenue exit.. They have no seating area /place. They have a high side table where you can stand and drink your coffee while watching the street.. enjoy your Starbuck coffee..

The attitude and disrespect from the worker at this location is incredibly disheartening. I have been going to starbucks for years and never experienced rudeness like I have today and I am not one to leave bad reviews. It’s not hard to be kind !!!!!

I pop into this Starbucks location at least a few times a month to purchase a bag of decaf and the staff is always welcoming, friendly and professional. Wanted to give a special shout out to Lindsey, Priscella, Alberto, Jessica and the rest of the staff who are top notch and know how to treat their customers! Highly recommend the Sumatra Decaf - it's a delicious blend!

The only problem is hearing the associate saying they don't wash trays or the display case they just dust it off that really grossed me out you're suppose to wash everything in food service not dust it

The worst location in NYC. STAY AWAY. Spent 22minutes waiting for a breakfast sandwich today, ordered on site and proceeded to watch 20-40 online pick up food orders be packed and picked up while I waited. After assuring me it would be out momentarily, the staff proceeded to serve a dozen other customers and make me wait an additional 7minutes. This was on a Thursday morning at 9am when you’d think they’d be on their game, brutal never go here
