Considering this is Times Square the service was great and even during Santa Con I got a coffee easily. The coffee is strong and it’s definitely not my first choice for a cuppa but I think Starbucks has improved the regular brew. Although I still prefer Dunkin. I will say, how is there no access to a bathroom? That’s why I’m giving 3 stars. I’d give 2 if the coffee tasted like gasoline, which it always has in the past. Glad that has changed ! I understand the homeless problem here which is probably the reason for no bathrooms but if I’m paying for breakfast or a coffee you better give me a bathroom. This is one reason I go to Dunkin! They have seating and bathrooms!!! Get a clue Starbucks that’s why your stock is down

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this location of Starbucks. I had gotten a hot tea for a sore throat only for the tea to be SCOLDING hot. I tried to take a small sip only to nearly spit it out but didn’t due to having nowhere to spit it out at. My tongue got badly burnt. Never had hot tea or coffee from another location do this. The cup was even too hot to hold.
And the worker, when asked about a bathroom, had the nastiest attitude.

UPDATE: This location still sucks. Because of the consistent, incredibly slow service I've gotten here, I've always skipped this location. Today (6 years later, apparently), I thought I'd visit again to see if they've improved their efficiencies....and nothing really has changed. And it's a shame 'cause this location is nice, and the interior seems to have been thoughtfully designed. The counter space for preparing drinks seems to be more than adequate for the high volume demand of this area...but man, something isn't right here. I want to be clear, I don't blame the baristas. They all seem to be working their asses off. Everyone is nice, and seems to have a good energetic vibe. But I think there needs to be a thorough analysis of how this place place operates, and perhaps a whole new process implemented for how orders are handled.
Review from 2018: I previously gave this place 2 stars because they've consistently taken a very long time to make my drink. I typically come when it's really busy. Well, on this day, I wasn't in a rush so I decided to stop by and get something. I came here when there were only 2 other people ahead of me waiting for their drinks. There were actually more baristas than there were customers. And still, the service took way too long. I've been to other Starbucks where I was very impressed with their ability serve a high volume of customers in such an expedited manner. So, I know Starbucks has this whole thing figured out. But there's something about the team at this location. They take a very long time to do things.
