Order an eggnog latte, entire staff ignored me by talking amongst themselves and fulfilling other orders. Too bad, this place could use better employees.

Staff is very kind and friendly! The drinks are inconsistent. Some days they're good and others they're not. They seem to be a very busy location so they must be prioritizing speed over flavor.

The 2.0 review this location possesses is, sadly, entirely justified.
Google lists the closing time as 10pm. I walked in at 9:05pm and was met with a loud chant of “We’re closed” repeated several times. The volume and tone were so abrupt that I froze. I felt startled and confused that simply stepping inside created that reaction.
Customer service is supposed to be a priority at Starbucks. Instead, I experienced disregard and unprofessional behavior from the three staff members present, two men and one woman.
After the woman noticed how startled I was, her tone softened and she repeated that they were closed. I told her that I only walked in because Google showed a 10pm closing time. She apologized and explained that they were already closed, so I politely stepped out.
If a Starbucks located directly across a station as busy as Grand Central Metro North has a different closing time than what is listed online, I believe it should be updated. Many people rely on Google Maps for accurate hours.
I will not return to this Starbucks. The way I was spoken to showed me that professionalism and care for customers are lacking at this location.

Slow service. Orders constantly incorrect. 43rd/Lexington location much better right outside.

I go here every day morning and afternoon. There's a new manager/supervisor at least I think she is. She's heavy-set with tattoos and white tortoise shell glasses. She's very rude and short with the staff. On Friday I didn't see her and the staff looked happy. Today they were back to misery
This might be the slowest and most unorganized Starbucks I have ever been in. One barista is making the specialty drinks, spending 5 minutes per drink while the line is queuing up. This is a train station, and people are trying to catch their train on time, but there is absolutely no rush here.

This is the worst experience ever. I was browsing the cups and mugs and picked them up to see how it feels, a rude waitress abruptly told me to stop touching. She said I’m not allowed to touch them. What??? I took one mug decided to purchase and waited to pay in line, she came back and asked me, among so many others in line , that if i am buying it or just touching it. It’s extremely rude. I feel she’s racist. Never been treated like this before.

Good service, friendly workers
I ordered a drink and gave my name as Aure. What I got back was Ole — a name that’s not even close. I didn’t recognize it because it’s simply not my name, and on top of that, I’m half deaf, so I rely even more on accuracy.
When I explained that I didn’t hear or recognize the name because it wasn’t mine, the Starbucks employee told me not to “snap” at her — but I wasn’t snapping. I was pointing out a genuine issue: how am I supposed to know it’s my order if the name is completely wrong?
It’s frustrating to be met with attitude when the mistake wasn’t mine. I expect better communication and customer service — especially from someone representing the company at the counter. That interaction could’ve been handled with much more professionalism and understanding.

I don't know why the reviews are so bad, hard-working crew and drink came out in ~10 minutes. Mobile order guessed 4-7 minutes. Was slammed w business on a Saturday late morning

They’re suppose to be open but aren’t letting anyone in
genuinely the slowest Starbucks ever. 4 people take their time and for the life of them cannot multi task. God forbid someone needs to catch a train. Give yourself more than 15 minutes, even if it’s empty. 1 person does the food, coffees, and teas, and register. And if food is in the oven, they stand there giggling and can’t take an order or pour a coffee… make it make sense
