Things have gone downhill recently. My previous time here I ordered a Matcha latte and received a chai latte, and this time I ordered a hot Matcha latte and they gave it to me iced and by the time they returned it to me hot it had very little Matcha, tasted like hot milk, and had absolutely no sweetener in it. Disgusting. Go to Maman. They fixed my drink. It’s way better.

I recommend going to another Starbucks store or going to a local coffee shop. I have given this store several chances to be a better experience, and this will be the last time. Took over 20mins to receive two hot beverages. Drinks were not correct. The store was not crowded, and the delays amd mess ups seem to stem from the staff having zero care. It’s clear from the reviews that this is a common experience at this location, yet a canned response is all that is given from whoever answers these comments.

I have a tip to these people but they are not deserving! The coffee wasn’t hot and when I asked them to reheat it they denied and the service is pathetic ! The attitude is worse too ! These people should be thrown out!

Worst customer service and rude worker. No name take but had a mask, wore a hate and short length hair. Man or woman. They were extremely rude. Don’t come here. And just saw other ppl complaining about the service here. I wonder why Starbucks hasn’t implemented a training on the staff. If they treat their customers like this, then they should Be closed.

Very Disappointing Customer Service at 66th & Amsterdam
I come to this Starbucks every day—sometimes more than once a day—for my latte. Today, October 3rd at around 10:23am, after finishing my drink, I simply requested a cup of water. Instead of assisting, I was told I had to go back through the line and “order” it. I explained that I wasn’t asking for bottled water, just the complimentary water Starbucks usually provides.
I complied and placed the order as instructed, but even after waiting about 10 minutes, no one gave me the water. When I asked again, a staff member named Vanessa repeated that I needed to order it—even though I already had. She still didn’t assist me or provide the water.
This is ridiculous and by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced at a Starbucks. I understand the store can get busy, and I am generally very patient and understanding (my husband owns a pizzeria, so I know the challenges of the food business). But this was not about being busy—it was about lack of respect and refusal to provide basic service.
I don’t usually complain, but this made me feel unwelcome and disrespected at a place I visit daily. This experience alone makes me reconsider ever coming back to Starbucks. I hope management addresses this issue, because there are usually nicer staff at this location, but what happened today was unacceptable.
