On Monday, December 29, at 2:00 p.m., I went to the Starbucks at Lexington Ave and E 85th St. with my sister. I ordered two hot chocolates, but only one was prepared because the cashier charged only one in the system. When I pointed out the mistake, the cashier was rude, did not acknowledge his error, and asked me to get back in line. It took 27 minutes to receive the second drink. This was not the level of service or efficiency I expect from Starbucks compared to other locations.

Ethan is a great barista however the few that are handling the bar when he is not there are extremely rude ! Especially the guy in the photo; I asked for ice and he gave me an attitude and said “for customers. Only if you have a problem speak to my boss over there.”

Our greeter was Vanity and our Baristas were Miguel, Sebastian and Ben. As soon as we walked in the door they were so welcoming and Vanity recommended some amazing new drinks/food to try. Im moving in a week, but will make the detour to come to this store due to the phenomenal customer service

The music is too loud and the bathroom was disgusting. There was also no soap in the dispenser.

5 in the afternoon and they don't have most of their food menu anymore. Also, music is too loud. But nice staff and I'm happy I can sit down (it's not much to ask for but sometimes it's hard in Manhattan).

Someone removed my review, so I’m posting it again. A couple of months ago, I had a terrible experience at this location with an employee named Jules(or Jewel). I ordered two sandwiches, and after charging me, she then tells me they don’t have one of them. No apology, nothing—just asked if I wanted my money back. I asked why she’d charge me if they didn’t have it, and all I got was a smug look and silence.

She gave me an alternative, but both sandwiches ended up being frozen in the middle. I told her they were inedible, and again, no apology—just another dismissive look and the same question about a refund. When I asked if she could remake them properly, she blamed the oven settings she was “trained” to use, with zero accountability or concern.

When I asked for a manager, she claimed there wasn’t one and went to the back, supposedly to get a card for the area manager, but then disappeared. This was a horrible experience—this location needs to get it together.
