I placed a mobile order at this Starbucks during my work break to save time — as the feature is intended to do. I ordered a nitro cold brew and a baked good. Shortly after arriving, my name was called, and I received the baked good. Then I sat and waited. And waited. Over ten minutes passed as I watched other customers receive their drinks — yet my nitro coffee, the simplest and fastest beverage to prepare, was nowhere to be found.

When I finally asked about it, I was told I needed to notify someone that I had arrived in order for them to begin making it. This was not only incorrect (mobile orders are designed to be prepared upon estimated arrival), but completely illogical — especially since I had already received part of my order, which clearly indicated I was present. If this is a new policy, there was no signage or communication about it.

There appeared to be no sense of urgency, no accountability, and frankly, no awareness among the staff — despite at least three employees behind the counter, seemingly disengaged while a ticket with half-completed items sat unattended. This isn’t just inefficient, it’s disrespectful of customers’ time. It’s the second time I’ve waited over 10 minutes for a mobile order here, which defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead.

If you’re going to offer mobile ordering, then honor its intent. Otherwise, don’t be surprised when customers choose to go elsewhere. The experience felt careless, avoidable, and frankly, not up to the standard of what Starbucks promises as a brand.

Its 8:57am May 8,2025 I walk in with my husband ordered Ice matcha lavender, after placing the order “ask for bathroom code”, NO WE DONT HAVE PUBLIC RESTROOM, and I DONT OWN THE STORE.. 🤨 i find it very rude that why he has to add this comment “NOT OWNING THE STORE AND A 😏 SMIRK on his face. My husband point his finger pointing the previous bathroom “ we live around the corner so we knew this starbucks” its that this time i need a restroom, and we order not to just came in the store and use their restroom. So conversation end i move to waiting area for orders and here comes another weird Reactions from two crew telling us THERES NO PUBLIC RESTROOM IN THIS STORE FOR 5yrs!!!! I didn’t pay attention.. SHE SAID WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR???? I want to yell at this two ladies!!!! So disrespectful and dont represent a real attitude of starbucks employees!!!! When we left the store they are murmuring “OHHH WELL WE DONT OWN THE STORE”..go somewhere else for restroom!!!! We are buying from this store since it was open. Only now we felt disgusted by this 3 employees!

Ordered some snacks and tea and wanted to use their restroom (which you have to put the code to get into). The lady said: we don’t have a restroom here. Even though Google says they do. Small stuff but makes me feel disappointed

Easily the most efficient and well-run Starbucks in Manhattan. The staff memorizes names and makes it a point to greet you by your name when you walk in. Feels like a local shop experience.
