The service was great, they sat us down quickly. The drink were on point, but the steak disappointed us needed more flavor.

Went back for a second time and got the hanger steak. It came in 3 different pieces and it wasn’t tender. Tbh it just wasn’t good. Took a while to chew. I think I just got a bad steak but I’m hesitant to suggest it to people now. Everything else was good.

Highly recommend the steak frites. It was amazingly good.

We went after the theater. We sat by the window.
We got there when the servers were changing, we preferred the first who moved over to the bar. We were allowed to taste wines before we ordered.
My friend got the Escargots de Bourgogne which she said was very good. Her daughter got the duck pate which she found underwhelming.
My daughter and I got the Onion Soup Gratinee which was excellent!
We all got the Cote de Bœuf which was fantastic. They brought it out to us to show it uncut and testing. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare, the petite salade came dressed on the plate and the frites eere tasty and crispy.

The bill with wines by the glass was little more than $400. I'd say comparable for the area.

Really enjoyed my dinner.

The fries were very good. Unfortunately our hanger steak was almost inedible. I could not cut into mine it was so tough. My husband got 1/3 of the way through his and then his got extremely tough. We barely ate. We did not mention to the waiters as we didn't have time to remedy the situation and wasn't sure if it was just the cut of steak. Looked it up later and it looked like you shouldn't cook hanger steak much past medium rare - wish we had been advised on this. Waiters also collected the plates without asking if there were any issues. Not something I'd normally comment on but we wanted to order a different steak but it wasnt available. When there are only three steaks on the menu that makes it tough. The reviews are good which is why we chose this restaurant so maybe just a bad experience.

The food was delicious. Had a burger, steak, and escargot. The only remark i can leave is the salt amount on the burger. I was concerned about the amount of salt. The saltiness overpowered the taste. But overall, all was delicious 😋 and I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

Decor was underwhelming. Shoestring fries were some of the best I've had in my life. The ribeye was done right. Not the best, but excellent nonetheless.

Fabulous place with excellent service and delicious food, right in the heart of Midtown. The atmosphere is lively, with great vibes and a solid wine selection. My only suggestion would be improving the wine temperature, as it could have been a bit more precise. Otherwise, a fantastic experience overall!

I’ve come here twice within the last few months and I really do enjoy it. The steak is good, the fries are thin and crispy, and the meal isn’t very expensive. Most importantly, ORDER THE FORMAGES! Their selection of cheeses is to die for! Plus the service is great, the staff are so kind.

We had to sit at the bar to eat. We got the long fried Fransje fries and too many, the layout of the plate is really bad, it is thrown on top, the food looks nice and you make me feel like I'm eating at my mother's. ,not really a restaurant. The meat was top quality and super tender, not normally tasty.

Thought it was cheez after I chewed it, then realized it was a broken glove in bread. Completely shocked with the waiters response, "oh we don't use gloves in the kitchen, must be from the bakery." No further explanation or solution. We paid full price and left in disappointments

Made a reservation for a weekend lunch though I honestly didn't need to as the restaurant wasn't full. Then I was just left on my own with no menu or water for about 10 minutes until a kind waiter noticed that I wasn't being helped. Had to wait another 10 minutes just to place my order because only one server was taking orders...

Got the prix fixe menu. The bread and butter appetizer was a nice touch. The French onion soup was tasty but I wasn't able to finish it as it was a bit too salty for me. I ordered medium doneness for my steak and it came out more like medium rare but at least there was a nice crust on the outside. The meat was a bit chewy but maybe I'm just not much of a steak person to know the difference. It's a really generous portion though! The shoestring fries were crunchy and plentiful. The last course was dessert which was crème brûlée. I think they should serve this with a small dessert spoon instead of a large spoon which made me think I'd be getting a bigger portion. Advice to skip the coffee/tea, I don't know why I thought it'd be free but I ended up paying $4 for it. I had mentioned it was a celebration and I got a sparkler to hold for a photo opp...

I think my expectations were too high for here so I left feeling a bit left down.

I booked a reservation for 8 people in advance and asked for a specific table in the back room as it would be quieter for a business dinner. When I arrived at the venue, I waited for the rest of my party at the bar 30 minutes in advance. The whole party showed up on time and as we went to be seated the manager on duty said that they had "to give up the table for a high profile guest." I was surprised given the fact that I reserved the 2 table tops well in advance and was just only hearing about the change on the way to being seated with the group. We were given a table in the back room that was quite noisy because of its location. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable of wine and their food. However, they ran out of 5 of the wine bottles we requested at the table. 2 hours in and we are still dining and the "high profile" person never showed up. The manager then tells me that it was a "possible high profile" person to which I answered that a table of 8 should take precedent over a so-called maybe.
Honestly, unsure if I would go back or recommend this place to others, especially for a business dinner given the experience despite great food.

I made a reservation and visited, and the female server taking my order was very unfriendly. For the first time, I thought to myself, “Is this really racism?” When I asked for toilet paper, I was told that there was no toilet paper. After hearing that, the male server next to me brought some toilet paper. She was such a strange woman.
I was so full that I had leftover steak, but I told her she didn't have to take it out, so she placed a salad plate on top of the steak. But they said it was just in case and packaged it for me? I think the concept of hygiene was also lacking. I was able to have lunch for a reasonable price of $38, but the steak wasn't very good, so I paid for strips again, but it wasn't that good either. The service was disappointing, the food tasted bad, and the forks were dirty, so I really don't want to recommend it.
