We hit up Studio Café for brunch right before we went into the Whitney, and talk about convenient—it’s literally in the same building, which is perfect.
Seriously, the first thing that grabs you is the entrance with that arch full of flowers—super cute! The whole place felt very welcoming.
The portions are also pretty generous. We definitely had to take some food with us. But listen, the real MVP here is the bread basket. I'm not kidding, the bread is insanely good and a must-order.
Overall, we had a really good time and it’s the perfect, convenient spot to fuel up before checking out the art.

Place is definitely a vibe.
Date night spot? Yes.
Girls night out at the museum? Yes.
They even have outside seating which I would love to experience on a nice summer or spring night.
We came here on the free Friday night thing.
Stopped here for a snack. Bae had the coffee.
I didn't want anything particularly at that moment.
This was a wonderful and memorable evening.

They have variety of drinks and some cold sandwiches. My wife had yuzu sofa, myself matcha capuccino, and we had the mushroom sandwich + mushroom sandwich. The sandwiches are bit overpriced at about $20 each but they were surprisingly decent. Good service and goo vibe. I would recommend this spot for quick sit-down and eating while checking out the museum.

This is a beautiful cafe on the ground floor of the Whitney Museum. I ordered the chicken salad and it was completely tasteless. There was chicken in the salad and also extra chicken on top of the salad. The extra chicken was moist but also tasteless. It was like it had been boiled. My husband ordered the steak sandwich which was very good. We ordered side of bread which was excellent.
Our server was snippy at times.
When it came time to pay, the machine gave me options to tip 20%, 25% or custom. What? I have never seen this. Usually you see 10%, 15% or 20%.
If you want convenience and a beautiful setting eat here; otherwise, opt for the dozens of restaurants nearby.

Overpriced and questionable quality. Great spot though. I won’t come back
If all you want is coffee and croissants, which would be normal on a Saturday at 11am, and not a full meal, the arrogant guy at the door seats you on uncomfortable high stools by the kitchen. No, thank you.
This is genuinely just really bad
What happen to the chips. I was looking so forward to the kettle chip, why? Please bring them back.
This review is for the cafe. A little bit of disappointment. Not expected this from one of the most important art institutions in the world. The servers behind the counter don't know how to greet customers. Look very stressed and overwhelmed. I have to say "Hi, how are you today?"" Ordered a ham sandwich and a flat white coffee. Sandwich was okay, cold and chewy. The coffee took forever. Only one barista for the coffee shop and the restaurant. He looked overwhelmed. He seemed to be a little bit new in this role. Coffee came out not great and too cold. On top, when paying the tip options started at 20%. This amount with not really table service is disproportionate and out of context. Sorry, but it's not worth it.

Extremely over priced for what it is but you’re paying for conscience. I do give it 3 stars because the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is beautiful as you are surrounded by a lot of natural light. There are so many amazing restaurants nearby that I would say you should save your money for unless you can’t be bothered and are already in the museum and are desperate for food. The food is not bad at all but I would not say it’s worth the price point.

The pizza is excellent but the chicken farro salad needs a complete overhaul. There are so many ways to make this salad amazingly flavorful and leave an impression…it sort of has an Asian twist but doesn’t use enough seasoning or sesame oil or lime or maybe rice vinegar….so many ways to make this 27$ Salad taste like a 27$ dollar salad….please please make this salad as delicious as I know it can be.

Very calm little restaurant. Thankfully unpretentious. A nice place to re-charge before/after visiting The Whitney.
Vegetarian options: The lunch menu was small overall but there was at least one meatless option in every menu section.
