Anna and Salem we're amazing, I'm a newbie in coffee but ended enjoying a delicious espresso. The passion and menu knowledge they showed inspired me to try their Black sesame matcha that was also delicious and perfectly balanced. Will def be back!!!

My wife stopped by to pick up beans for me and left feeling embarrassed and dismissed. She checked the shelf for beans and noticed that some flavors were not there. Per my request, she asked a simple, reasonable question — whether they had any bags that were not on the shelf and if there were any with an earlier roast date (IYKYK). The staff responded coldly, as if the request was ridiculous. Instead of being welcoming or knowledgeable, they brushed her off with a scoff and “everything we have is on the shelf,” which seems unlikely since most shops keep additional stock behind the counter. And even if that were true, it highlights a lack of training in how to communicate respectfully with customers. For a brand that promotes quality and care, this interaction was disappointing and out of character. We’ve been loyal Stumptown customers for years, but after this experience, we see no reason to return to this location and will be taking our business elsewhere. No company can claim to stand for quality and integrity if its staff treats genuine customers this way.

A little haven in NYC. Coffee in the US is pretty weak but these guys do a good job of it. They will give you two shots in a 6oz cup instead of having to order the ridiculous 12oz or 16oz cups. Very friendly staff and quick service. Small range of pastries. Only negative is that coffees are served by default in takeaway cups which is a shame from a waste perspective. You can get them in a porcelain cup but that isn't made very clear.

Simple orders are so routinely screwed up that i expect them now. If the coffee was bad I'd never go here, but only visit for location. Be ready to douboe check your order, then waste more time while they fix the errors.
