In my opinion this is literally the worst restaurant in all of New York for customer service. I live in midtown not far from this restaurant. I very rarely order from this subway because I have seen filth inside and out so often in this place. But today I was having a really hard day and I really didn't want to go to my favorite subway on 11th avenue and 52nd street. So I ordered on the mobile app and went to pick it up. The woman at the register immediately started asking for my ID, I told her I don't have one, but I can show the order in the subway app, the payment receipt in my email, and the applepay transaction to identify myself as the buyer of this order. When I offered to do so, the woman at the register refused. After I asked her to show me where in the app it says that I have to show my ID to pick up my order, she started raising her voice and yelling at me, saying that her boss ordered her to check customers' IDs. After all this, I left the restaurant and called 311, the operator decided to call the police, and when the police arrived, they said that the best solution would be to contact the consumer protection department, which I did when I returned home. Returning to the restaurant, they refused to serve me, but also did not cancel the order and the money was still debited from my bank card, how do you like this attitude towards a customer? And now the most interesting thing, it was an order for a little more than 10 dollars. In several years of living in New York, this is the first time I encounter such an attitude - it turns out that I pay money, and when I come to receive the order, present a receipt for payment, show the order in the application and want to show the transaction in ApplePay, they start yelling at me for my own money and refuse to serve me. I wish you a speedy closure, or at least a change in staff. P.S. I will update my review as soon as I receive a response from the consumer protection department.

Odd place where mobile orders are only accepted with IDs. Showing them the actual app on which I made the order and offering my order number were dismissed (that seems like a more certain way to identify customers, considering many people have the same names). The worker told me to call the owner if I want a refund, so I asked for his number and he told me to find it myself(?). Then on my app, they marked the order as picked up when I never received it. In the end I just disputed it on my card, but my friends and I have been actively avoiding this branch since. I would go to other Subway branches in the area.
This is my go-to lunch place at work the workers treat me like family ❤️❤️ good people good food good deals!!!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! THE WORKER PURPOSELY ADDED TIPS ON HIS END TO MY BILL AND DENIED IT. Please check your receipts!!!I went there to pick up an order of the new foot long auntie annes pretzel with my coworker. Once we walked in, we saw the guy (heavy white skinned worker) making his coffee and looked annoyed that he had to do work.Anyway, we ordered about 5 pretzels and the guy literally took over 30 mins from reheating the food up to packing it. I never knew fast food was actually the slowest food I ever ordered. He took his sweet time heating ONE pretzel at a time, mind you we stepped out during our work to pick up the food and dont have all day. He then had to brush butter on it and salt it which he did a poor job at because the pretzel was the saddest thing I ever ate.The pretzel turned out to be SUPER hard, you can hit someone in the head with it and injure them. It was BLAND and had like 5 specks of salt on it and NO butter taste.Anyway, another employee (middle eastern looking) came out from the kitchen with some fresh pretzels and was putting it away and he kept saying "these things are good!!" After my order was packed 30+ mins later, the middle eastern guy rung up my order to pay. After we walked out the door I noticed a $5+ tip on my receipt. I went back to question him and he said I TIPPED THEM by pressing the option. NOPE DEF NOT, NOT FOR THAT SLOW A$$ SERVICE. If I wasn't picking up the order for my boss I would have left considering how slow the service was!!Anyways, the employee kept arguing that my coworker and I chose to tip them. IM 10000% sure they have that option on their end of the register to press that key!!! Very scammy and not honest people. Gave us a super hard time and I insisted that we did not press anything for tips as I was picking up for someone. So FINALLY the employee decided to refund my order and ring it up again without the tips.CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS!!! VERY DISHONEST PEOPLE, I WOULDNT EVEN TIP THEM A PENNY FOR THE CRAPPY AND SUPER SLOW SERVICE PROVIDED!! Never EVER going back to this location. The two employees looks like they def hate their jobs.
