Man, I love Subway but I hate Subway in Roosevelt Island. I regret for ever coming to this specific location. I actually read all previous reviews and no wonder why this place sucks! The black guy working there ruined my mood and day because of his awfully bad customer service! So arrogant, so unprofessional, so impolite, so disrespectful. He was acting like “why did you come here? Don’t you see I’m sitting and doing nothing, chilling, relaxing and you coming in here make me move and do my work”. I mean seriously, why the guy who doesn’t work there and hate people so much is working there?

Ordered a sub for the first time at this location via the app. Asked for extra sauce and regular cheese. I received tiny bits of cheese on only one half of the sandwich and almost no sauce at all (leaving the sub pretty much flavorless). This same side of the sub had one single slice of cucumber on it. Very disappointed to see what Subway has become.

It's just Subway. It feels a bit dark, perhaps due to a lighting issue. It's not friendly, but it's not unfriendly either. I ordered churros and dippers and they were perfect for a snack. There are tables and chairs next to the library across the street, so it's much better to eat there.

Absolutely rude employees. I quite honestly don't know how this Subway gets away with having such aggressive employees. I come in to pick up my online order, and I tell him that he gave me the wrong cookies. He gets extremely angry AT ME for him having messed up my order, and tells me that I should not have come in until he was completely done and blamed me for putting pressure on him (I did not say a word to him except my name when I was picking up). Then he forgot to toast one of the two sandwiches, and used the wrong bread on the other. Do not come here--rude employees that are simply not worth the time and effort to deal with.
