Line takes absolutely forever. They prioritize to go orders. Coffee sucks. Staff is so rude. It’s ironic this place is called super nice. Other than that I love the guava and cheese.

I called this business to confirm hours and place an order at 12:40pm on a Sunday. The woman I spoke to on the phone told me the business closes at 5 and assured me there were doughnuts left and that they would hold my order for me as long as I made it online. I made the order online, paid online, and showed up at 4pm to find the business closing. I explained the situation and showed my order number and confirmation email. I was told there was no record of my order and someone must have thrown my food away. Not only did I not get the food I paid for, I also did not receive a refund and was unable to speak to a manager.

EDIT: After finding the business’ email online and explaining my experience, I received an apology and have been promised a refund for my order.

best vegan donut i've ever had hands down. only issue is they are not available until almost 11 and the window itself doesn't open until 8 which is way too late for a coffee shop. what is this california?

only nice thing is i only am ever going to go if i go to costco which is maybe once a month so i won't overdo it

I ordered a ham and cheese crossiant.
They gave me a crossiant with a small piece of cold ham, it was not fully cooked, and no cheese.
I ended up throwing it out.
Definitely not worth the price, go to Dunkin Donuts instead.

Update Response to the restaurants reply:
FYI I did not think it was a sandwich. I know what a crossiant is. ?

The item only has 2 ingredients in it. The ham was not fully cooked, the ham was cold, and there was absolutely no cheese in the crossiant.
There was no reason for the ham to be cold if it was "baked", as you stated.

I did go back to see if I could get another one since mine was missing ingredients, less than 15 mins after purchasing, and I was greeted with an attitude and no replacement. Which is the why I left a review.

Thanks for your passive aggressive reply. It completely alligns with the service and food I received! :)

This place is so darn addictive. Seriously, even if you are not a vegan, try the vegan doughnuts. Crack! The sugar cinnamon doughnut…crack. The mango glazed doughnut…crack. The chil glazed, the pecan something doughnut…crack. The cornbread cake doughnut… deadly. The plain croissant is nice. The pistachio croissant is sweet, savory and so good. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit are finicky elder approved. You are not going to be disappointed. I go to the one on 117 . This is a take out spot. No seating. Just grab and bounce. Lots of characters in this neighborhood so think like a Buddhist. Only temporary wtf’ness. The folks working there are warm and lovely. The actual neighbors are lovely. End of story, you are going to be happy.

Went for the Canadian tux coffee thinking it was something unique and special in the world of coffee...but it just tasted like a Starbucks iced latte. However the pistachio croissant was perfectly flaky and sweet! I would go again just for that

Worth standing in line for the donuts and coffee. Pro-tip:
1)hit up the 117th shop
2) resist the urge to scarf down the donut immediately
3) walk to Marcus Garvey park
4) find a bench and watch the doggos frolic off leash and the beautiful faces of central Harlem go about their day.
5) congratulate yourself on making the best damn decision that day
