Super Nice Cafe in Harlem lives up to its name and then some. The staff is super nice and friendly, but the real stars are the doughnuts! Delicious, best-in-the-city kind: perfectly fluffy, lightly crisp on the outside. Some of my favorites include passion fruit, blood orange, maple pecan, and honey-glazed cornbread doughnuts. Don't skip the savory cheddar jalapeño biscuit. 10/10; recommend this place.

I first came across Super Nice Bakery when someone brought their donuts along on a work trip and from then on I was completely hooked. They’ve become my favorite donut shop and I honestly look forward to them every time. The donuts are perfect but it doesn’t stop there, their matcha and coffee are just as good and make every visit even better. The people who work there are always so kind and the service makes you want to keep coming back.
If you ever have the time, you should also check out their pizza restaurant. It’s packed with flavor and just as special as the bakery. Super Nice is one of those places you find once and never let go of.

A great spot in East Harlem for pastries and coffee. Window service only, but lovely staff and delicious, fresh pastries and great coffee. Highly recommend. Don’t be in a rush because sometimes there is a line, worth the wait.

This is a classic NY walk up coffee shop with some of the best pastries in the neighborhood. I will try to get their cheddar jalapeno biscuit at least once a week if I can. Coffee is also SOLID. The only reason why I'm giving service/atmosphere a star rating and not 5 is because sometimes the folks are on their phones and talking to someone clearly in their ear, and the tourists that make their way over and take up the entire sidewalk- otherwise 5/5 most days.

Decided to finally try this place but originally avoided it because of the insane prices. Maybeeee the coffee is ethically but they don’t tell you or advertise that. Maybeeeee the bagels and doughnuts are baked on site, but you’d never know because it’s not advertised and curb side service only.
It’s window service only and the area is NOT nice, and they don’t keep their area clean. Trash everywhere and drug users at literally every corner. Random giant glob of goop right in front of their window.
Large coffee (16 ounce), is $5, more expensive than Starbucks (3.75 for 16 ounce- medium) and blue bottle, which are equally insanely priced. They also up charge for oat milk or almond by .75-$1 - sooooo greedy considering it’s basic Oatley brand that you can buy for $4 a gallon… very disappointing and poor business decision.
A BEC will cost $10. Total for that order was 17 paid in cash. Not sure they understand the area they’re operating in but the $2 coffee at the deli on the corner tastes the exact same. The BEC tasted better than the deli BEC. Bacon was $2 extra, which was probably the only reasonable to charge. Id prefer it not diced and mixed in with the eggs.
So if you value normal service that appeals to a younger and modern crowd for 75% up charge, this is your spot.
Charge restaurant and dine in prices for a dine in review I guess.
Happy to edit my review when things change.
Two stars for the price not justifying the value. I don’t want to standing next to a homeless guy screaming at his friend in a k-hole with a a needle in his arm while I pay $20 for a medium coffee and bagel at 9AM. Coffee shouldn’t be more than $3, especially for a window operation.
Update - their prices on their menu board are not what they actually charge. Cheddar biscuit cost $5.50 not $4. They rudely said there was some sign that says they can change the price whenever they want.
Not sure why they don’t just tape over the prices and write what they actually are like every other business.

As a baked goods expert :-), I can declare with great certainty that the glazed, maple and corn bread doughnuts are THEE most amazing ever! Point blank-no need to look further-this is the standard by which all other so called “fresh” doughnut shops should strive to produce. If they can’t, then just offer a great cup of coffee!

My favorite coffee spot in the whole city, I've been a patron since the week I moved here years ago and have never felt such reverence for a neighborhood cafe.
