My husband and I were able to snag a bar seat without a ressie on a Saturday afternoon. While being ranked the number two bar in North America in 2025, it doesn’t have attitude. Everyone is super friendly and approachable. Michael was our bartender and he was so personable and fun!!
They have a nice agave selection and the drinks are so inventive and delicious.
And even though they definitely have clout and are a destination bar, they serve their neighborhood and have such a laid back vibe.
I got the “mushroom” margarita made with huitlacoche which is a fungus that grows on corn kernels in Mexico. It gives the margarita a slightly different, umami, flavor. I highly recommend!
This is honestly the best vodka soda I’ve ever had!
Gave it a try despite the mixed reviews and comments seen on Reddit. Turns out Reddit was right and definitely was not worth it at all.
We got seated for a reservation and were promptly ignored for 20 minutes. After that, our first round was ordered and then we were not left alone by wait staff even when we had a lot of drinks left. All of the staff were extremely pushy and would encourage ordering another drink before we were completely done with our current round.
All the drinks are batched and not very inventive. The mushroom margarita had no discernible mushroom or any extra extraordinary qualities over a regular margarita. All the other drinks were pretty basic as well and the staff had the audacity to come to the table and pour one of the drinks from the bulk batch bottle directly at our table not even properly shaken or anything.
Closer to the end of our reservation, wait staff encourage ordering one final round and then we were unceremoniously kicked from our table before we finish the round that they suggested that we order.
For over $20 a drink this is not worth it at all. There are so many other bars just in that area that are worth your money. Save your money go to double chicken please.
When I got texted, 3 hours after I put my name on the list, I quickly made my way to superbueno. At the door they denied me entry because they said I was too late, despite arriving 12 mins after the original text. Because of some mysterious, undisclosed 10 min policy, I was deemed too late to enter. The bouncer, who will remain nameless because he refused to speak his name, was entirely unapologetic and seemed to take some perverse glee in denying myself and my group. I will not be trying again.
WOW. This is rare for me. I’ve never once in my life left a bad review well to be honest and to be completely frank. I did not step foot in the bar, but I review it because I was told I needed to wait three hours to get in well I waited those three hours after the three hours ended. I went to the bar. They gave us a 10 minute window to show up and I showed up in 12 minutes and they said sorry too late. You can’t come in. I asked to speak to the manager. They said she was busy. It’s one in the morning what she be busy with ultimately, I’m not happy and will not return.
This Mexican bar delivers on flavor and fun! The food was delicious—flavorful plates that hit the spot, and the drinks were strong with a generous pour of alcohol. Great spot if you’re looking to indulge in bold flavors and a solid buzz.
The only downside was the service—staff came off a bit pushy, and there was a time limit on our table that wasn’t mentioned upfront, which was a little frustrating. Still, despite that hiccup, the overall vibe and quality make it worth checking out. Definitely a good place for a lively night out with friends!
The line to get in is crazy, and the bouncer and the host treat people horrible.

Hostess had a really bad attitude. we were told by the bouncer to wait in line when arrived but then when we get to the front the hostess said she can only put our name down on the “waitlist” and we had to get out of the line. That’s insane? Why told us to be in the line to begin with? It was not even that crowded, she either lied or they just have a really bad system that waste people’s time

Terrible place. They were constantly harassing my group of friends to consume more. After 1 hour they kicked us out because we didn’t drink enough. Horrible experience, do not recommend at all. So many places around that are much better.

A fun bar atmosphere makes Superbueno a great spot for casual drinks/food. Our bartender Shammai was very friendly, our drinks great tasting, and the music was and ambiance was great. The Bam Bam was my favorite cocktail. We came in earlier in the evening so space was still available, but i can imagine at night it packs up.

The place has a good atmosphere but the food is average. It was recommended to me as a Mexican place and it was a disappointment. They didn't even know what a flagship tequila was and the tequila selection was quite poor.
