It just was my cup of tea. It was very hot inside which I could understand. I wish they would just open the doors and let the air through. It was very nice outside. The next thing is the gelato when I ordered it. I ordered it on a comb, but they brought it in a cup, but I will let that pass. The gelato itself just wasn’t great. Banana pudding, cromuffin was pretty tasty, but this place just isn’t worth a trip if you just happen to be going by check it out it’s not terrible, but not my thing

The food here was soooo good! I got the ube eclair, passion fruit curd donut, strawberry matcha croissant, and the donutella. I will say it was really mess because they were all somewhat stuffed with a sort of liquidy thing that exploded out when you bite into it, but the messiest food is always the yummiest. The food seemed really fresh and tastes very natural. The passion fruit curd donut was by far my favorite, and the matcha crossaint was my second favorite because they were super delicious but not to overly sweet nor to rich, like the eclair and the donutella, while still good I thought they were a little too much, and wouldn't get them again. The service is great and super friendly as you tell them what you want, you pay and they immediately go grab it for you, so aside waiting in line (there was quite a long line because this place is bussing!) you don't have to wait for your food, and the atmosphere while minimalistic it was good to.

It was an interesting experience. I went there after seeing a recommendation online, but the prices are 😲 Almost $10 for a croissant!!! I loved it but won’t be going back because I will go broke if I went back there.

I’ve only had the ube and cookies ice cream sandwiches thus far (separate visits) and will certainly come back to try the other treats!

So, I finally made it to Supermoon Bakehouse in the Lower East Side — and wow, I’m still thinking about it! I’d heard people rave about their pastries, but nothing prepared me for the real thing. As soon as I stepped inside, the smell of fresh-baked croissants hit me (in the best way), and their pastry display? Absolute eye candy. It felt like walking into a pastry gallery.

I decided to try the Banana Split Sunday croissant, and let me tell you, it was next-level. Super flaky on the outside, just the right amount of crisp, and inside? A creamy banana filling that tasted like a dreamy dessert from my childhood — but all grown up. They even had a drizzle and toppings that made it feel like an actual banana split. Fun and fancy at the same time!

The staff were really sweet and happy to explain the different pastries without rushing me, even though it was busy. The place itself has a cool, modern vibe — kind of artsy but chill.

If you're in NYC and you’re even remotely into pastries, you have to stop by. Supermoon Bakehouse isn’t just a bakery — it’s a whole pastry experience.

Absolutely unique flavors for baked goods and ice cream. The enticing sweets will convince you to get something. Not cheap though.

Wow, the uber eclair was the win! We ordered that and the tiramisu danish. I would try a different danish, as the moist tiramisu and crisp danish wasn’t working for me — but it didn’t matter because the eclair was the STAR. I don’t think you’ll go wrong here though!

I love the minimalist space, it’s really a unique bakery experience! Of course this place has gone viral a few times so there can be a long line, but it is worth it. Everything we tried was actually very good. It was the best eclair I have possibly ever had! The passion fruit donut was super balanced between sour, tart, and sweet! And the cornflake macadamia nut cookie is a really fun take. I will for sure be stopping by anytime I’m in the neighborhood. Came again recently and got the piña colada eclair and I will be dreaming of it for weeks now!
