Had chicken fried rice, soup dumplings with crab and pork, and Chicken mandarin (this was the best). I would skip the fried rice and dumplings next time and try more dishes...

Supreme Restaurant in Chinatown is a great place for authentic Chinese food at affordable prices. The atmosphere is simple and functional, but it's mainly about the food.

The soup dumplings (xiao long bao) are definitely recommended! They are fresh, well filled and have a delicious, rich broth inside. The noodle dishes and steamed buns are also worth a try.

The service is fast and efficient. Don't expect luxury, but if you're looking for delicious, authentic dumplings, this is a top address in Chinatown!

PLEASE READ!!! I have too many issues with this place :

1- TIPING : please fix the fact that you only take debit or cash only , you are located in NYC so…catch up we are in 2024 , almost 2025 , update your system to take credit and Apple Pay , mind you our waiter had the AUDACITY of asking for 15% tip after we pay even though it is up to the customer to decide how much to tip; our waiter refused to take our 5.75$ change from us and showed us on the receipt CIRCLING “15% tip or over” , so we took our money and left.

2- FOOD: I don’t know what’s the hype for this place , sure thing their pork soup dumplings are good but that’s about it. I got the pork chop w scallions noodle soup and I have NEVER had such a plain flavorless soup , mind you the menu doesn’t state that the pork chop is deep fried and the oil they used was either old or it was just a bad choice to fry meat with. The noodles were just terrible in taste (mind you , you have to choose between noodles/rice noodles/ rice cakes ) , I got the regular noodles and still were the terrible. Their Thai tea IS THE WORST OF ALL , and trust me when I say there is WAY BETTER Thai teas out there in NYC with more flavor and consistency, theirs is so water down (there is no need to add ice , that just make it worst) and has no as much Thai flavor. I didn’t even bother to try something else because I was already disappointed, how can your dumplings be the best and ONLY good item in the menu but everything else is just wack?.

3- Bathroom: Last but not least , this is not about the food but hygiene in general , their bathroom are so dirty , smelly and nobody seems to clean them often , at least not enough during the day YET the smell gets stuck in your nose while you eat, it is just cross and i couldn’t wait to pay and leave since I started to feel nauseous.

Excellent place for XLBs (crab flavor) and we really enjoyed the scallion pancakes. Service is fast and attentive, food is hot and fresh (fun to see the dumplings madd). We didnt eat much since it was a quick stop for us, but the tourists around us enjoyed the Chinese American dishes. Enjoy!

I came here at around 3pm with friends and was told that it would be a 5 minute wait. They told me to take a seat and that they would seat me promptly. I was not seated until 4pm. They do not treat their customers equally here. If they see that you may be a tourist, they will seat you immediately. I saw many people that came way after me get seated immediately. The host did not forget about us as she would constantly glance over at us. However, after glancing over at us, she would continue to seat the other people that came in later.

This is a restaurant that I have been going to since I was little and I have always had a pleasant experience here. After not having come here in so long, it is a shame to see how they treat their locals.
