Suram - Sushi & Ramen (Hudson Yards)

The food was rich and flavorful. Some of the best eel, it was very tender. The sweet potato roll was crunchy and had so much flavor. The broth in the Ramen and Miso soup was not salty like most places and had a taste that complemented the dish.

The crunchy rice roll was the only dish that was average. It smelled much better than it tasted. The tuna and salmon tasted great but the actual fried portion on the rice was overpowering.

My new favorite Japanese restaurant in Hudson Yards area, also whole of Manhattan!

Food recommended were crispy rice for hot appetizer and yellowtail jalapeño for cold. Paired so well with house sake carafe!!!

Sushi and sashimi deluxe, soyu ramen (will try tonkotsu next time) nice umame with mushroom slight flared up taste even with chicken.

Topped them all was Kiki (sorry if I botched the spelling of your name) very caring and attentive.

Food is relatively fast. Plenty of bar seats after work gyoza, Asahi and ramen affordable as well as numbered rolls.

Crowd keeps on rolling in at 8-9pm. So, reservation recommended. Such a nice vista both from inside and outside.

Pricing is reasonable not crazy. $9 beer, quality entree in $20 range as well. Possibly partly why +4.5 rating holds up while some other Japanese restaurant nearby can't.

The sushi deluxe was delicious, but the ramen was just okay. The servers were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. I think the price is reasonable for Manhattan.

All four of us were really happy with everything. Suram has delicious food and excellent service - Gun, who waited our table, was very attentive and friendly so that we felt very welcome:)

The sushi was excellent- super fresh and delicious with decent sized cuts on the sashimi. Service is impeccable and efficient, we were seated immediately and food came promptly. The quality of the food, together with the price and service are really impressive. Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars ❤️

Best service!!! Great Chashu ramen

really well done sushi. I am from Vancouver where sushi is very good and abundant so I have a pretty good gauge on what is good. my only con was the price... paid about 7 dollars a piece.

Excellent food and the waiter, Gun, provided exceptional service. Highly recommend this place - beautiful vibe.

Excellent local sushi

Everything about this place is great. Sushi is fresh and delicious, service is amazing, atmosphere is great. We had our one year old daughter with us and the staff were so friendly with her! We’ll be coming back again and again!
