No respect for customers time. Ordered takeout in person to help the restaurants bottom line. Was told 20 min. 50 minutes later was handed food with no apologies or care whatsoever.

The standout was the service, from making the reservation on the phone, to seating our large group, being patient with our ordering and serving really delicious food so graciously. Dishes were moderately priced and it felt like excellent value for money. A standout experience in the city.

The ramen was average, not really authentic and the noodles were a bit soggy.
The sushi was better.
Probably should try other dishes next time.
Consistently fresh and yummy sushi, friendly staff. Quick preparation for take out orders

Cucumber salad, spicy tuna roll, tuna avocado maki roll and Niki Udon. All very good. We went on off hours and service was fast and place was quiet for NYC. Pictures tell the story. Try them out!

The lady on the phone for takeout was terrible - she hung up on me after I had kindly said no need for my order since the wait time was going to be 30 minutes for two spicy tuna roll. Terrible service - I will never go back here. She could’ve just said “sorry next time” rather than just a hang up. Extremely rude

One of my favorite spots in Manhattan. The staff is so warm and friendly, and the food is outstanding!! My boyfriend and I said we prefer the food here to Nobu.
It’s become a staple for us and we go frequently. Can’t say enough good things!
Definitely order the crispy rice!!!!

Restaurantji Recommends
1. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, making the experience even better
2. The food was good and the price was reasonable. Not bad
3. The place is small with only one bathroom, but that cozy atmosphere made it perfect for a great conversation with my friend

Great addition to the neighborhood. Friendly waitstaff can't be more helpful. Talented sushi chefs. Want to eat Eastern cuisine do it on the Westside of Manhattan!

$8 for a single piece of normal sushi?? Kidding me! Ordered 4 pcs and $32. Honestly, that’s just shocking.
Not even 4–5 pieces for $10 — just one! Totally not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Friendly staff, nice and nice represented dishes, and fish on the wall at a Japanese restaurant !! The yam roll is really impressive with tempura texture but in a roll. The bowl is also nice. You can get salad or miso soup. The dressing for salad is great, and the veggies are crunchy!!

Our server was amazing! He gave us some great recommendations and was very attentive with filling our waters. Plus, the food was delicious. Best sushi that I have had since moving to NYC.
