I’m sad to report that this was one of the worst take out experiences I’ve had in NYC. I’ve picked up from here before and it was decent — enough so that I was willing to come back again. Tonight changed that for me. My katsu chicken was chewy and almost plastic-like making it inedible and the miso soup lacked any flavor. I’m literally throwing away $17….disappointing.

The prices are good. But they don’t know how roll. They just are messy and falls apart. One of my rolls was missing three ingredients and their response was just telling me what should be in it 😂

Minus one star bc the spicy mayo was way too spicy and not like usual spicy mayo at other spots. Candy was so warm, welcoming and helpful! I ordered the Dragon's Egg and Crispy Eggplant appetizers to have for dinner. They were so flavorful! The menu had so many great options that I have to come again. Great new addition to the neighborhood!

This place is on my way to work and their all day 3 roll special is a great value! Easy to call in an order and it’s ready pretty fast. The fish is fresh and the location is very clean.
This place doesn't do sushi well. All the sushi tasted like it was made by someone who was following a cookbook but never had good sushi before.
Almost half of my sushi pieces had some part that was too tough or chewy and the tuna was so tough it was inedible. I also don't believe the fish was cured as they were very bland and one dimensional.
Shrimp tempura was mid. A bit heavy with the fried flavor but overall generous and good. Maybe rolls is where they operate well?
The rice is sushi grade rice but not sushi rice. It's not bad rice given it's a hole in the wall sushi place.
I hate to be so critical of a new restaurant but there are so many sushi places in the area, even in the takeout tier. This place is worse than supermarket sushi where it's made there but better than supermarket sushi that's made off-site. I hope they learn and get better

Had a wonderful experience getting takeout from this new sushi spot!! We each got the three rolls for $15 combo deal. They are very generous with the fish, and it was excellent quality — some of the best sushi I’ve had at this price point. This is my new favorite takeout spot, I’m so happy to have them in the neighborhood!

I ordered delivery from here and it was great! Best three roll special deal around ($18 if ordering in the apps and includes a miso soup or salad - it seems to be $15 if you order direct) and the sushi was good! Looking at their wider menu it seems like they have a great range of options and prices that can’t be beat across the board. A great add to Yorkville! Honestly my only two complaints were that eel avocado wasn’t a choice for the three roll special (they do have it on their regular menu though) and they didn’t add chopsticks in my order haha. So all in all very good!
