The Sushi is alright, not to die for but it’s good. The chefs are super funny and entertaining though. It was around $130 pp and left extremely full :)!

Lovely, lovely experience at a reasonably priced omakase that packed all the quality and flavor expected. Warm hosts all around from the wait staff to the esteemed sushi chef. We will be back to this gem of a place!

It’s not great for solo dining.
Don’t bother coming early they seat you later especially if solo.
Once you’ve had $185 Omakase in Barracks Row, this pales in comparison.
Yes the sushi was good but not omg I can’t wait to come back good like it is at Omakase in Barracks Row (that’s a whole experience) here it’s just a sushi bar. I was going to splurge on their premium omakase at Sushi Blossoms but it didn’t seem like it was worth it based off the service.
Overall it’s good.

Top of the class omakase in Chelsea. Small but cozy place. Like in other similar places sit by the counter. We had the Classic 12 parts sequence which was prepared masterly. Try the oyster uni & ikura after the sequence.

Sushi Blossoms in Chelsea is a hidden gem. The omakase was exceptional — every bite was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The toro and uni were unforgettable, and the chef’s attention to detail made it a true culinary experience. Service was warm and professional. Highly recommend for sushi lovers!

The main thing, not unique to this restaurant, but typical here is that it’s not really Japanese anymore. They all tend to use complicated ingredients too much. Fancy, indeed. Tastes good? Well, you are the judge. In Japan, it is a lot simpler and milder taste that make you take main ingredients. It is like use chocolate sauce to replace soy sauce to sauté something. Fancy? Yes. Sustainable, no. The guy in the front is unwelcoming and server is more eager to sell you something off the menu than the type of true omakase service in Japan. A Michelin Star omakase in Tokyo at lunch is about $120 to $150 and dinner is about $300. You are the judge

When they opened they were okay, as they have tweaked the menu it has really become a work of art! Bruce and his team have done an amazing job and they keep making it better! I cannot wait to go back.
I opt for the classic so I can add hand rolls at the end! When I have opted for the premium I was too full to add hand rolls (which I LOVE)

Wasn’t bad, best pieces were phenom, but too much friend and deep fried stuff. Sushi should be about the fish.

Honestly, the atmosphere was great—some sushi dishes were amazing, while others were just okay. Overall, it was a great experience; the food was mostly good, though nothing particularly outstanding.

Absolutely amazing date night at Sushi Blossoms. The ambience and the food was on point. I didn’t feel rushed like I felt that other Omakase seatings. Definitely would recommend checking this place out. 10 out of 10 would definitely do again.

This was one of the best meals of my life. The sushi chef was incredibly knowledgeable about kosher fish and able to customize the omakase meal to accommodate!
There was an amazing sake menu which the waitress helped me navigate. I can't recommend this place enough.

Sushi Blossoms is my favorite omakase in NYC. I’ve now been here four times and every time the quality has been amazing and the staff have been very attentive. I highly recommend the $128 premium option with 17 courses, but you will be absolutely stuffed at the end. The classic option with 12 courses is still delicious and a great value at only $85.
