Sushi by Bou - Chelsea NYC @ Super Nice Coffee

Every piece was prepared to perfection and staff could not have been nicer and more attentive. Amazing experince!

Amazing as always. Went on a Monday night for my girlfriends birthday and it was the perfect vibe!

We had THE MOST INCREDIBLE experience last night at Sushi by Bou. First of all, the vibe is everything you want from NYC. The hidden entrance, the private intimate feel, the attentive service making you feel VIP, and of course the sushi which was out of this world. We were celebrating so we went for the 17 course option, and each bite was exceptional. It's more than just a delicious dinner out, it's a whole experience from start to finish, and I can't recommend this place enough. 10 out of 10. RUN!

What a great find thanks to OpenTable and great reviews. Our first trip to Sushi by Bou and it was absolutely amazing! From the hard to find speakeasy entrance, to a friendly host Imax to the amazingly delicious and beautiful 17 course meal, it was all amazing. Highly recommend and look forward to going back next time we are in NYC.

Wonderful and delicious omakase experience. The restaurant has a nice speakeasy vibe, and the staff are friendly and super welcoming. Our bartender/server Imax* (might have misheard his name) was awesome, and the chef served up some amazing cuts throughout. We got the 17 course omakase and a few drinks each and left very satisfied. Pricing wise, the 17 course and two drinks gets you around $200 including tip, so if that seems too pricey, opt for he regular omakase service instead. Overall, highly recommend and look forward to going back!

Every time I'm back in New York, I make it a point to visit this omakase spot — it never disappoints! I've been to their other locations before, but the Chelsea one has a special place in my heart. The food is still consistently fresh, creative, and delicious, but what really makes it worthwhile for me is seeing Imax who used to run the Times Square location. He's the best — always welcoming, attentive, and makes the whole experience feel like old times. It's like a little taste of New York nostalgia wrapped in perfect sushi.

We had a tasty and beautiful omakase here, can't wait to go back again! Service was great and the space was unique. Loved it!

Sushi by bou is an amazing and efficient experience, each course was impressive and left my mouth dancing with flavors and sensations not to be forgotten! All was done within the hour and I didn't feel as if I was waiting around after each course. I love the price point for the 12 courses and 17 courses, they have great al la carte options as well, we got the salmon with yuzu roll (chef's kiss) I typically do not like wasabi on my sushi, but chef Ken put just the right amount dabbing on rice for me to experience the explosion of flavors paired together. I don't drink alcohol, but saw some other patrons pairing with their sushi and assume it is also fire! Thank you Chef Ken, Imax & Mr. T for your wonderful service and attn to detail and food! Highly recommended if you have to have a sushi experience in NYC...go for a walk around little island, the edge or High line park and make your way to Sushi by Bou Chelsea & you will have yourself a great half day discovery of the sites of NYC!

The experience is excellent every time we dine at Sushi by Bou. The atmosphere is intimate, the food is consistently fabulous. Staff is excellent, warm and friendly. Great dining experience.

This is my 15th visit to Soushi By Bou . Always great times sitting with buddies at the sushi bar. I never was disappointed with the quality of food , the staff's excellent service and the amazing experience I have interacting with Sushi chefs from all over the world .  I had the 12 servings menu and usually I order additional hand rolls from the side menu . Delicious 😃

We had an incredible omakase experience at Sushi by Bao Chelsea. The sushi, the sake and the service were great. The whole speakeasy entrance is very cool. This is our 2nd time trying Sushi by Bao and we weren't disappointed
