Mini-kase is a solid deal.

We celebrated a couple of Birthdays and Mother's Day here. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We came for brunch and pretty much had the place for ourselves. I had the Goda Harmony which consists of the Rock Shrimp, Miso Cod and Medley of vegetables. It was wonderful! 🤗 💕 Many of my party got the Chirashi, and they enjoyed their meal. Others chose the rolls. One ordered the Nyeumen - thin udon soup Bowl with shrimp Tempura. All very yummy!

Very pretty and friendly service. Sadly paid $200 for dinner for two and every single cooked item we got was over cooked or tough: fried lobster role, wagu katsu sandwich (this was so hard to chew!), and crispy rice with salmon.

The sushi rolls tasted very fresh and good

What a gem of a restaurant - punches way above its weight. Food is fantastic and the interior is beautiful. Also some of the kindest and most sincere staff! 10/10 recommend and they have incredible deals for happy hour and weekend brunch. Has tons of seating too so can host large groups

This restaurant offers amazing sushi. The menu appears simple, but there are nuances to all the selections. The dishes are exciting and extraordinarily delicious and I eat a lot of sushi. Their sushi chefs work quickly to create fabulous dishes. The relaxed atmosphere is great for a special date night. And even though I was perfectly satisfied at the end of the main meal, I had to try a dessert - great lava cake.

This is a gorgeous new restaurant that has opened on the UES and I highly recommend you go check it out.

Ambiance: The whole set up is gorgeous. When you walk in, there is a brightly lit hallway, feels futuristic. Once you’re inside they’ve created this vibe of indoor garden. They even have a nice fireplace. They have these really nice skylights above their back bar and back dining area so you can get natural light. The whole set up makes the place feel fancy and yet comfortable.

Food: We got the spicy cucumber and vegetable gyozas for appetizers. They cucumber sauce was so good, we ended up keeping it for the rest of our feel. The little crunch on top of the cucumber was also such a nice mix. It tasted like a fresh and well seasoned appetizer. The gyozas were also really good. They came out really hot and didn’t feel oily. The stuffing inside was a nice combination of different vegetables.
As our main course we shared their vegetarian platter. It came with 9 different sushi bites and 8 pieces of the avocado cucumber roll. All the pieces were delicious and I liked how they created different flavor combinations.

Service: Service was great. They were quick to seat us and take our order when we were ready. Food came out at a nice pace. Water glasses were filled quickly.

Price: For NYC standards, I find this place to be very reasonably priced especially considering the portion sizes. We paid less than $50/person for our whole meal.

Michael was an excellent chef and the space is beautiful.

Such a fun sushi joint. The entrance feels like you are walking into a club but the restaurant itself is very elegant. Pricey menu but great happy hour deals all night long and fish was very fresh.

It was very average sushi, made worse by the fact that it is quite expensive. It’s always a red flag when a pan roasted chicken breast and lamb chops share a menu with maki rolls and omakase. The rice was mushy, there was way too much cucumber in the eel maki roll, and the gyoza lacked seasoning. On the plus side, the atmosphere is truly something else. At least take a photo of the entrance when you walk by.

I wish I could give the service more than 5 stars! Came here to celebrate a birthday and the sushi was delicious! I would definitely recommend the Rainbow Maki. The hostess was super sweet and accommodating. They did such a special celebration for my girlfriend and were so hospitable the entire evening. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again!

I went to Sushi Goda on a whim last weekend with my boyfriend. We went in time for brunch which had an awesome deal of getting 3 sushi rolls (1 specialized one and 2 regular rolls). Not only was it a great deal, the sushi itself was high quality and delicious and we left feeling very full. If I’m ever back in the area I will definitely try to go again!!

I would give this a 6/5 if I could. Everything was there: food, service, and vibes. Recommend the 88th Maki roll

The place was beautiful! The staff are all so nice and helpful, smiles everywhere :)
I tried the omakase experience, Chef Michael was absolutely amazing! All of the courses from starters to dessert were both tasted & looked wonderful, he slowly explained and moving on to the next course on my own pace, and can adjust for any allergies too. highly recommend!

Despite having a reservation, our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, and we were left standing around with no explanation or apology. The staff seemed completely uninterested in accommodating us, and when we were finally seated, the service only got worse—slow, inattentive, and shockingly unprofessional.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the food was mediocre at best. My fish was filled with bones, with no warning from the server, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. For a restaurant that tries to present itself as a quality establishment, this was completely unacceptable. The rest of the meal was just as unimpressive, lacking flavor, freshness, or any redeeming qualities.

Needless to say we will not be retuning
