Sushi Jin does not disappoint! Came back here a second time after two years and the food and service are impeccable! The sushi rice is cooked and seasoned to perfection (they make it small so you’re not stuffed on rice) and the fish portions are GENEROUS. You can tell that the chef loves doing what he does and the staff are also extremely attentive and friendly. It is truly the best omakase experience in the city!
Each dish demonstrates kitchen standards while each server demonstrates service standards. As in most dining experiences, the sweet ending was best. This spot earns its good name. The restaurant proprietor showed kindness and generosity. This restaurant balances all elements well.
Memorable from the moment we were welcomed by name at the door… More than a dinner, this is an immersive experience with dedicated new friends shepherding you through a thoroughly enjoyable, effortless - and delicious - evening. Easily a top NYC dining experience, yet still with the coziness of a small-town haunt, and none of the obligatory pretension of a typical night out in the city. Highly recommend.
