This place is a hidden gem. I am reluctant to share just how amazing every bite is, but we all deserve to have affordable and absolutely delicious omakase in our lives. It is a special treat for sure, and your tongue will forever be grateful. Sushi on Jones should have a Michelin star for their unique, delightful creations and excellent service (and don’t overlook the well-curated sake menu). Two favorites include the wagyuni & the crispy rice with salmon. Worth a visit, detour and destination.

Quick, effective, good value sushi spot. Open in the afternoon, unlike the more formal restaurants that only open in the evening. This is a great place to casually drop in and grab a quality sushi lunch while shopping in the village.
Friendly staff and clean surroundings.

Loooove the omakase here. Always a bit different and so delicious. The tuna with the crispy rice is a must. A regular spot for me!

One of our favorite dinners in the village. Perfect for dinner before a show or a game - they are always very fast and efficient. The King Salmon Sushi with seasoning is outstanding.

I’ve been going to Sushi One Jones every Wednesday—it’s a tradition I started this year (2025). But I’ve been a regular at this place for over a year now, and I simply love it. The best sushi in nyc - locals only please lol ! If you come for omakase every week, they make different pieces for you. The service is incredible—Amy is the best ever! I’ve known her for over a year from the Williamsburg location. But the other sushi chef is also amazing. I love this place! I feel super New Yorker and like a true West Villager for being a regular here every week.

This place is good, especially for the value. We did the 20 piece omakase set at the sushi counter and had a good experience. There were lots of tasty and stand out pieces as part of the set. Good variety overall.
The manager was very nice and hospitable - a highlight for me. She even gave us an extra bite at the end of our meal which was a lovely touch and very appreciated.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because my friend and I felt something didn't sit right later in the evening which leads me to believe something could have been off with the food quality. But it's hard to say since everything tasted fine in the moment. But we both felt this way.
When it comes to omakase, although the experience was enjoyable, I wouldn't consider this place my go-to.

We spend $50 on Uber Eats, very little food, no soy sauce. I will never order again.

Omakase was excellent. Jen and Amy made me feel like I was having dinner at a friend's place.
My girlfriend and I felt like we were at a literal chef’s table. What an exquisite and romantic experience.

What a fall! It used to be so different when I last went there 3 years ago. The vibe, service and quality of food have all fallen, albeit less for the latter. The omakasse chefs are nice guys and aim to please but you can tell the quality of fish and produce has gone down.
The server was nice but the manager was so annoying and kinda rude asking us to hurry up even tho the place was empty and we were well below our 90 Min limit.
Won’t repeat
