Perfectly curated for a more personalized omakase experience. Everyone was welcoming, conversive, and attentive. I've dined with Sushi by Bou at different locations but each location never falls short of flavor delivery. Definitely a go to spot.
Tiny spot, distinctly different ambiance than your usual omakase, but the food was excellent, really high quality and made with skill. The space is tiny so everyone sort of chats together. The manager was friendly and generous!
Why does this restaurant exist and how could it even be called Japanese. Fish is not fresh, sushi roll is not rigid.

Best lunch special on the UES!
A delicious Japanese feast, teriyaki, shumi, salad, soup, dumplings in a light filled modern setting, attentive service for under 20.00 . I’ll be back!!

We've always looked forward to having dinner here everytime we're in NYC. However, there seems to have been some changes and unfortunately, service and quality no longer seems up to par. The sushi rice was under cooked and service was no longer warm & friendly. No longer personal. The sushi chef did give us an extra piece of madai to make up for the undercooked rice but we still left disappointed with the overall experience. We will have to look for another omakase for our annual NYC trips.
overall, it was a good experience. Sushi was good. Service was fantastic. Love the 90s hip-hop theme and music. if you're looking for a quick 60 minute Omakase, then this is a good choice.
I booked Sushi by Bou Nomad for our sisters night out. We expected a typical omakase dinner but Adrian and Chef Koichi made our experience truly fun and unforgettable. As soon as Adrian realized we had the entire place to ourselves, he asked us which music we wanna listen to and I think that was brilliant. They didn't have the drink that I wanted (veuve clicquot) but he was quick to suggest an alternative. Chef Koichi shared stories about music and food as we toast to making it in NY. Would love to be back with friends next time! Highly recommend if you want an upbeat omakase experience.
The chef and waitstaff service were phenomenal - it made dinner memorable and an amazing experience!

Excellent omakase experience. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Great for birthday or occasions.
The most untraditional omakase experience I've ever had. From the flat champagne to the rushed meal, not worth the money. Amateurish.
My friends first time and she absolutely loved the vibe, quality and service! Our female sushi chef was super friendly and funny too. Always a pleasure bringing friend here.
The service was impeccable, the quality of the sushi was outstanding, and variety in preparation was exceptional. Our sushi chef Jack was first class and I would recommend that all my friends go for a very rewarding experience.
Average sushi at an average price. Nothing exceptional but a good spot for takeout if you don’t want to spend too much.
