It's not even close to how good the uptown location is. Sushi is alright but way overpriced. You can get sushi several levels above this Seki in the same price range anywhere in manhattan. The uptown Seki location is the only one worth going to.
With so many high end sushi places in the city, the "regular" sushi places have become very mediocre. Sushi Seki has become this and now i consider it a sushi "diner", which isn't a bad thing but it isn't that great either. If I want a decent sushi bite without the high price tag, i might come here.
Just an amazing experience of taste and fragrance and utter delight. The savory mix of the dishes with the brine of the ocean and the sweetness of the rice. It was a choreographed dance of flavors and textures. Tony always produces the best and the freshest and the cleanest. A must do! Enjoy it as I did! Another amazing night of this dance r of food for my birthday to be shared with the loving kindness of friends.
