I met an old friend who recommend Turi . we didn’t order the owner / chef just provided us with incredible selection of sushi sashimi and variations that evening. Japanese cuisine is my favourite cuisine and handsdown outside of Tokyo - This is the best Japanese that I’ve eaten - period.
What a wonderful spot! Definitely a hidden gem.
Went for dinner on a Saturday night and it was very surprising that we were the only group there -- but it was kind of nice.
It was such a personal experience where the chef is talking and explaining the process, the fish, and everything all while making and serving fish.
The staff is all very friendly and attentive. I never felt like I was waiting very long before courses....

Our hidden gem omakase spot in the city. Chef brings true Edomae tradition to the counter, with seasonal ingredients and perfectly paced courses that feel both refined and generous. Each visit is consistent yet refreshing — always something new, always beautifully done. The chef’s warmth and attention to detail make it a joy every time. A place we will return to again and again:)
