No exaggeration, my boyfriend and I haven’t stopped talking about this place since we visited last year. We’ll finally be back in town next month and are beyond excited to be dining with them again. Did we book a trip just to eat here!? Maybe… probably… because seriously, this place is exceptional. The owner is the sweetest, most delightful human with an incredible story and the food/service is an unmatched experience. Plus, you simply can’t beat their affordable omakasi prices…but the bigger bonus??? BYOB. Bring your wine, bring your tequila, bring neither or bring both. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a party in the most intimate sense. I never write reviews, but Sushi YOLO is a 10/10, so please, do yourself a favor and go see them before they earn that Michelin Star!

Sushi Yolo was straight up incredible! One of the better 16 course omakase meals I have ever had, the setting and staff here are great. All of the courses from the sea scallops to the fatty tuna to the A5 Wagyu were very memorable! With a great location on Columbus circle it’s a no brainer, and I cannot wait to go back soon!

If you arrive early enough, you will be able to watch the chef's preparations. Different fish are prepared, cut and seasoned. Then comes the start of the meal. Or show. Each dish is made before your eyes. You will see the chef combine the different products and season them. Then deliver them directly to your plate. There is no fuss. Taste, savor. Try to discover each flavor that the dish highlights, each flavor that the dish amazes. It’s a symphony of tastes, a choreography of flavors. Each dish is unique. In taste, in flavor, in subtlety. Don't be fooled by influencers without gastronomic discernment. Sushi Yolo is undoubtedly the best restaurant in New York. Those who say otherwise haven't been there or have no taste skills.
