I’ve eaten at various Sweetgreen locations and am generally happy with the food. Unfortunately last night I got food poisoning from the romaine. My friend and I both had the harvest bowl, but I switched greens to romaine and removed the rice, also added cucumbers. I remember some of the lettuce tasting bitter, but I ate it anyway. As soon as I finished my bowl, I started to feel pain in my stomach, and within a half hour I was throwing up (up all night with pain, vomiting, and diarrhea). It’s the next day and I can’t keep anything down/in, including water. I couldn’t find any other way to report this to Sweetgreen, so hopefully someone sees this and takes care of the issue before more people get sick.

The new machine made salads are pretty great and loaded. You have to make sure though if you are substituting say spinach and kale with spring mix that you choose spring mix twice otherwise your salad will be half the size it should be.

Also, double check your avocado before you leave, as the machine apparently is unable to detect if it’s overripe and riddled with strings…

This location was super clean. The ordering process was quick and easy. The food came out in less than five minutes. I ordered the chicken kale with goat cheese and it was amazing! I highly recommend it to others.

I’ve been to many other locations across California, but this one.. it’s a big disappointment. Can’t order directly with server, and its machine who prepares the salad. Payed $18 and the salad barely covered the bowl. Won’t be back to this location

The food was enough, I felt full my partner was on the fence. One hot honey chicken and one with salmon. The sauces for the meat were not mixed or given to me and the single worker that was there was in another world and he had all the sauces. I am not sure if it was the robot or the humans job to mix the sauce on my chicken but the food was delicious and I know exactly what I’m going to get with the automated kitchen.

The tiny portions at this location are wild. I’ve been to other Sweetgreen locations and I normally get what I pay for. So, today I put in an order at the kiosk, and 3 minutes and $18 later I received a salad bowl filled halfway with the tiniest amounts of ingredients (stuck to the bottom of the bowl), wilted lettuce, and raw onions even though the ingredient in the guacamole greens salad is pickled onions. My advice is to go to Fresh & Co across the street, and get yourself an actually fresh salad the way it’s advertised for the same price or less.

The new machines were in so my harvest bowl was made by machine, not a person. It was not mixed at all, he goat cheese was in a clump, rice at the bottom, WAAAYY too much salad dressing (no one asked me if o wanted light, medium or heavy, which they always ask when a person made it. There were three people there friendly but no reason to engage since the food mixing was not done in front of me, which allows some quality control. I won’t eat again at one of the machine generated stores. What a horrible concept.

I used to frequent this place when i worked nearby and loved the people that worked there. They made it a pleasant experience. NOW they have replaced that with a robot. STUPID corporations taking the service out the service industry.. regardless the few people they had were nice and seemingly stressed cause customers didn’t know what the hell was going on and can’t really personalize their salad as before. Really makes me not want to go there.
