Japanese cheesecake good, not too sweet. The matcha latte was very sweet, though they did ask if I wanted sugar and I said yes. The Thai milk tea was also very sweet and more half and half than tea. The matcha tiramisu was very strange to me—there was icing/mousse on top but the green below it was just straight up jello, not sure how it was supposed to be a tiramisu. Asked for a knife to cut food with, they said they didn’t have one. Also CASH ONLY, though I didn’t see a sign clearly posted.

My favorite Asian bakery in Chinatown! I love their pineapple buns and coconut buns. Their mango sticky rice balls are also good. My mom always makes me busy a bunch when she visits. Staff is friendly but it’s cash only so make sure to have that with you.

The people who leave one star negative reviews are people who aren’t used to being an environment outside of their own basic culture.

Whenever the staff is rude to you, you know the food is going to be amazing . You are in Chinatown!! NYC!!! Working people don’t care if they give you attitude they care if their job is getting done.

Not every item in their store is amazing . But you can say that about any store.

I personally love the pineapple crusted pork bun , the regular pork bun , the sweet coconut cream bread , and the bubble teas.

I haven’t tried much else outside of those items . I come from Long Island. Just for the pork buns. $2.50! I steal.

The space inside is tiny and have signs on the tables that you can be there for max 30 mins. Respectable. It’s their business.

Cash only bby!!! So another indicator that the food will be amazing. I also love how it looks inside

Taller lady behind the counter is so rude. I’ll never come back here again. Literally wouldn’t make my coffee until I put the cash on the counter. I bought a cake and asked if I could come back for it and she asked me how long 5 times like it was an inconvenience for her.

We order tiramisu, it’s the worst cake we ever had. It was not tiramisu, it was like some kinda of putting jelly on the top. Completely wasting money; we just threw it away cuz it tastes terrible and this is not tiramisu!!

Rude Cashier lady needs to change her attitude. Demands 'cash only', questionable if they pay taxes. The lady didnt understand my order and got frustated when i explained what i wanted. Food was not tasty. Not coming back again.

I understand $2.50 is the market price for pineapple crusted roast pork bun, but the product is below average

I came here and this is literally a hidden gem. The bread is amazing. I tried any flavor I could get my hands on. I highly recommend “Coconut & Cream Bun” amazing amazing I bought one ran back for another and even more. It was just amazing. And it’s so affordable. i’m eating my goods as I’m writing this like I had to write a review.

this is a very unique gem in nyc. the foods are delicious, the staff is warm, and you feel welcome to sit and stay in. just have to be patient with the language/culture barriers.

Pretty classic Chinese bakery, standard breads with really good prices. Staff were friendly as well.

🥥💛✨Coconut pineapple bun was delicious! Really a great option for sweet tooth. The bread was soft and pliable. Coconut filling was sweet and rich.

🧀Cheese tart was good, small VIP. Although nothing special, it was thick and creamy. Cheesy and plain flavor that was not too sweet or salty.

Steamed pork bun has some space to improve. The filling tasted strong and thick but no flavors. At least the bun was fluffy, soft, and pliable.

(note: the staff recommended the Japanese cheesecake which could be something to try out as well.)
