I understand $2.50 is the market price for pineapple crusted roast pork bun, but the product is below average

I came here and this is literally a hidden gem. The bread is amazing. I tried any flavor I could get my hands on. I highly recommend “Coconut & Cream Bun” amazing amazing I bought one ran back for another and even more. It was just amazing. And it’s so affordable. i’m eating my goods as I’m writing this like I had to write a review.

this is a very unique gem in nyc. the foods are delicious, the staff is warm, and you feel welcome to sit and stay in. just have to be patient with the language/culture barriers.

Pretty classic Chinese bakery, standard breads with really good prices. Staff were friendly as well.

🥥💛✨Coconut pineapple bun was delicious! Really a great option for sweet tooth. The bread was soft and pliable. Coconut filling was sweet and rich.

🧀Cheese tart was good, small VIP. Although nothing special, it was thick and creamy. Cheesy and plain flavor that was not too sweet or salty.

Steamed pork bun has some space to improve. The filling tasted strong and thick but no flavors. At least the bun was fluffy, soft, and pliable.

(note: the staff recommended the Japanese cheesecake which could be something to try out as well.)

We ate the steamed pork dumplings and the dough was really good, but the filling was pretty bad.

The store clerks were all chatting loudly and it was so noisy that I couldn’t even have a quiet breakfast.

Every time we come to Chinatown, we need to stop by and get our favorite things from this bakery! Since we discover this place we been very happy with everything we had. Our favorites are: Custard Bun, Sesame Ball, Lemon Roll & Coconut Custard Bun. It is always fresh & taste really good. Also, is really affordable! There is a few indoor seating. Be aware: is cash only. All staff are friendly!

CASH ONLY IN 2025... for such a lovely place with staff helping you with the pastry's it's crazy it's cash only. CC fees aren't a real thing anymore, weird. New Cameron Bakery around the corner does card and they're not as nearly nicely appointed. Baked goods are delicious.

I always get their sponge cake, because they're so good. Today I also bought the egg tart. I didn't like it at all 😔 Have no taste and felt watery. REMEMBER, your every move is being watched 👀

I’ve been coming to Sweets since I was a kid. I always get a fried sesame red bean ball, and also love their cheese cakes, roll cakes, and steamed buns.
