I was so surprised when i stumbled upon this basement bar. I was in the area looking for a place to kill some time solo saw this place and went in. It was pretty packed but I was able to snag a seat at the bar. I had a glass of wine and "bar snacks" so i cant really talk to the bartenders drink making skills but he was friendly and accommodating with me being at the bar alone. I thought it was a little pricey for a dive type bar but otherwise fine. I wont seek it out next time im in the city but if i happen to be on that block i will go in.

Awesome time. Had my wifes birthday here for a bar crawl stop. Everyone was cool as s@#t. I even hung with the bouncers while finishing my cigar and I didn't want to leave. Cheers to Sweetwater Social!

Cute hideaway with shuffleboard and a (partially broken) fooseball table. Drinks were decent but the online menu was significantly dated and they couldn’t make the first 3 drinks requested.

Fun bar and crowd. Bartender was very nice. It's a underground bar with a lay back feel to it. Cocktail menu is pretty decent. Many board games and fussball table as well.

Good cocktails but super warm!!!! Place needs better airflow. Was kind of loud too on a Fri night so be warned. I've seen it quieter on the earlier part of the week.

Sweetwater is an awesome spot to host a group or have a drink with a few friends! I hosted my birthday here towards the end of April, and we were well taken care of! Went here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday with my friend. We contacted Shaun the owner weeks in advance to reserve the Red Room (private room) for our celebration, and he confirmed. When we arrived on the night of our party, it turns out he booked another party in that room, and reserved the open space of the bar in the front for us instead. The fact that we had confirmed these details in the previous weeks to find that he had ‘confused’ his communication with another party was extremely disappointing.
