Thanks to Tucker who reviewed this place. The recommendation of the corned beef sandwich was ? Best one I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. It’s real, fatty, tender, melt in your mouth cooked corned beef, not deli sliced thin. Perfect dressing and accompaniments. Service was quick and friendly even though it was busy. I’m really sad my liver is busted and I couldn’t have a nice Guinness.

This place is alright- they have good draft beer, hoses are clean. Didn’t have the laphroaig 10 the second time I came…don’t know but that threw me off.
Atmosphere is excellent here- I can read and drink at this bar all day, it’s a very nice and comfortable place.
Food is alright- the sauce that comes with the wedges is delicious. Sausage roll is also very good but it feels as if it’s missing something.
Overall, good friendly bar to go to and unwind, read and relax

Brilliant bar with a great selection of whiskey's esp Irish varieties. Occasionally has a live gig playing.
Heard great things. Came with 4 people. Got denied entry for supposedly blocking the sidewalk (wtf kind of excuse) while pulling out my ID while 5 other people casually walked in without talking to the bouncer. HAHA what a joke of a hire. People walked by just fine.
