Some of the best Guinness you can get outside of Ireland, and certainly one of the best pours in nyc. Sausage roll is also awesome. A lot more fun to go during the day on a weekday as opposed to after work and/or on the weekend when it’s wall to wall with finance bros (no shade but also a little shade).

Swift was pretty fun, but there was nothing about it that really stuck out as compared to most of the other bars I went to while in NYC. They do have a large selection of lagers, so they do have that going for them, and I really liked a lot of the wall art that they had. Overall, it's an above average, but below spectacular bar.

This is a nice venue however I was surprised to learn that the staff are working for free here. I intended to tip the barman at the end of the night but was dismayed when he told me that I “hadnt tipped all night and he wasnt working here for the good of his health”. When will swifts start to pay their barstaff?! I didnt realise this was legal in NYC

I wish there’s less than 1 star Very unprofessional staff Humiliating people if they don’t have a high bill so they can make good tip , double charge and when you ask why you charged me twice the general manager ( i am not sure if he is ) comes and laughs at your face and says thats my email and whenever i feels i want to respond i will . Its embarrassing when you have guests with you GUYS don’t even waste 0.01$ here its not worth it There’s a hundreds of Bars around the area so be wise where to go I just feel bad for the owners because they have no idea thats this staff is hurting there business, its not the first time and i really hope the owners take action

This bar may claim to be an “irish bar” but the servers and general manager “sam” have zero manners to work at an irish bar.
After speaking with my sister im infuriated, this bar went from a bar i recommend everyone going go do a AVOID AVOID AVOID.
My sister and cousin were left feeling humiliated and upset given zero reason to be screamed at and told to get out by manager sam and the trashy server with the teeth gems.
Upon entering my sister and cousin grabbed a drink from the bar, as the place got more people they headed to the back to be able to hear each-other both Irish and havnt seen eachother in some time, while walking back were given extremely dirty looks by said trashy server, they sat down were asked to close out there bar tab and did. While sitting chatting and “having the craic” nothing manager sam would know about. Trashy gem teeth server asked them almost immediately to order another drink, they had almost full drinks so said will order when finished these ones.
Gem teeth proceeded to go over to “general manager” Sam and speak about and point at my sister and cousin, she came back over enraged with anger as if perhaps sam had give her a prep for a fight in a boxing ring, said you need to leave NOW i have a reservation for this table in 10 minutes. Now going off what google says they dont take reservations but she also didnt just ask them to move back to the bar which they would of done.
My sister very calmy asked her was she ok? As she had first given the extremely dirty looks and now is yelling for no reason at customers. General manager Sam came storming over yelling OUT OUT OUT.
3 people were left feeling very confused and now also humiliated given absolutely no reason as paying customers why they were screamed at and told to leave… NOT COOL and will definitely not slide!
As they walked out scratching there heads, my sister got an alert on her phone that her card had just been charged again for a further 45 dollars which she definitely didnt just do so she walked back in to see what had happened, explaining to a server she got an alert on her phone Sam walks over saying “whats wrong now” she told him and he said “this is going to take to long, just write a review”
WOW the level of unprofessionalism from this place im in shock. Thank you sam for the idea of a review, i along with others will be doing just that. This place should drug test there staff as the actions performed seemed as though staff members were under the influence or on something.

The bouncer here really has issues - I was denied entry for my families birthday because I had 2 drinks? I wish I was joking. The manager was then informed, he came out and did nothing.
Bouncer clearly thinks he’s something he’s not, denying guys from entering for absolutely 0 reason. I had my family of 10 with me who all can back me up.
Don’t waste your time going on a weekend when the bouncer is on the door, absolute waste of time and a complete narcissist clearly.
