The food was fresh and very good. Staff was accommodating and professional. Despite the crowd during our visit, staff was patient and courteous. Our server, Raen C, was very pleasant and professional. She answered our questions in order to ensure we’d have a positive experience and enjoy our meal.
Nice historic restaurant in Harlem. We ordered the Smothered chicken and Harlem chicken and both are very good.

Sadly I was disappointed with my chicken liver with onions due to it being burnt, so I wouldn’t recommend them, but the wings with sassy sauce were delicious.

It's either what you expect or it isn't. Last night we were passing through and ordered our usual but service was severely delayed. Took an hour to get our food and the chops were COLD (chewy), macaroni and cheese also cooled to room temp. Greens and corn bread were warm. The workers there are awesome people I expected some explanation but only got cool food. We literally opened it as soon as we got in the car so this was human error, unfortunately
