Incredible. Delicious tea, reasonable prices, intimate setting with lovely soft jazz. Bringing everyone I know here to split a pot and have a quiet chat. The kind of place I moved to NYC for.
If you can get a seat in the tea room, order a pot of the Oriental Beauty, bring a book or a friend you want to catch up with. Order some of the snacks. The Taiwanese mooncake is great. So is the pineapple linzer cookie.
Great presentation, cute space, with nice decor and treats with the tea. But the oolong tea we had was a bit bitter and tasted a bit burnt - surprising since they did timed steeps and poured out the tea into a serving decanter. Still a fun experience. It can get busy on weekends - we came Saturday around 12:30 and went to the bookstore across the street while waiting for our table.
