Great omakase but NOT ALL YOU CAN EAT. and have to pay for all you can drink. Should’ve been clearer online that they are no longer doing the deal

It is NOT an all you can eat place! Although reservation/description says that after omakase you can order as much as you can, this service no longer exists and prices are the same. Overpriced for the quality of fish and quantity of food. Not worth the hype!

Could’ve taken better pictures but was too busy eating. They ended their acye menu and started their new omakase menu, we ordered the $98 set with 17 courses, after 30% off promotion they’re offering through December, it’s $68, which is a pretty unbeatable price in Manhattan. Everything was fresh and delicious!

Toka was such a great experience! We went during a promotional discount and for the amount, quality and service of food, I highly recommend this omakase!

The quality of the fish was fresh and top notch. The pace at which the pieces came was nice; not too quick and allowed for smooth conversation between each.

The atmosphere was nice, modern and cool. The music played were top40 bangers, which I personally enjoyed.

The staff were attentive and friendly.

There are a lot of Omakase places in NYC, add this one to your list!

The food is just not fresh here. It’s similar to other AYCE sushi, would not call it omakase-quality, the wagyu appeared frozen before they heat it up. It’s a good value as the last round is AYCE, but I felt I could enjoy a much nicer meal for $100.
The service is excellent and the people are kind.

It was our first time trying Toka last Saturday night based on their reviews and friends’ recommendations, but wow!!! The entire experience was very disappointing. The sushi rice was cold, the fish did not taste fresh, and the service was inattentive and careless!!! The dishes came out quickly, but only because everything was poorly prepared. Even the hand rolls were unprofessionally served. The food quality was so bad we didn’t even bother to take any photos. We complained about the food to the staffs, but no one cared, and the chef never came out to give us any explanation. For the price point, this place does not deserve to be called an omakase!!! the quality and attention to detail were completely missing. I would not recommend this restaurant at all, and I know I will never go back. Good luck to anyone who attempts to give it a try!!!

Very fun, great sushi, well priced - there's an all you can eat and drink component. The drinks are simple but flowing. Love that you can add pieces at the end

The food is great! I went there by myself after a sad day, the sushi cheers me up. The after free add on is just normal sushi, it’s not that fancy but I enjoyed it. The cheesecake is really normal, I wished they have mochi or pudding for dessert. One thing I didn’t know is the free add on can only add once, like you have to order all the add on at once. So it is a bit interesting.

AYCE, and the tuna was fantastic, however the salmon was off - either the quality of the fish had a slight odd texture, or was not properly kept (not sure). Service was great. Mushroom garnish on the tuna was fun, but most other pieces were a bit uninspiring.

Yellowtail was ok. I’d stay away from the eel pieces. Its an ayce sushi place so it’s exactly what you’d expect

This place is not it…the fatty tuna and wagyu of the AYCE barely had any flavor. As a foodie I could tell this is a cash grab, especially given its location and interior decor. Save your money and avoid; do not bring your date here.

Disappointed, I was excited to try an AYCE omakase spot and been googling everywhere to find the right one. All the reviews and the $98 AYCE and drink options brought me to this place. When I got there we were seated on the tables, not the bar which was fine. I actually preferred that since we had a party of 3. The quality of fish was not high quality, the rice was very mushy and over powered by the vinegar. It honestly didn’t have any special sushi, all I had was the basic sushi which I can get at any typical sushi restaurant.

The service was a bit better, they were very attentive and were constantly helping us refill our sake.

All you can drink and eat (in the end). Solid place but the service could be better.
