Downstairs is freezing in the winter and not worth dining there. The food was great but only book here if you can sit upstairs.

Skip this place for brunch. It's pretty but it's dead during brunch time, the brunch food is not great except French toast, and the service was unbelievably poor! The servers did not know what they were doing. Would not recommend for weekend brunch.

Wonderful meal. Everything from the guacamole to the shoe rub was fantastic. Loved the ceviche and the lobster tacos. Great vibe and relaxed atmosphere.

High end Mexican experience you won't soon forget! Tortillas made from authentic Mexican flour.

Food is excellent - unique tasting, nothing you could ever make yourself, decent portion sizes, and moderately priced. However, the (limited) wine list is very expensive - a change from the past. The wine list on line is not up to date, and the least expensive bottles ($70+) are not available. The cheapest bottles of wine were $80 (plus tax and tip). So the restaurant is a great deal if you don't drink. Since I resent when restaurants make all their profits on wine, which requires no work, sadly, we probably won't be back. Also, we had a reservation for the main dining room, and we were called about 6 hours before that the main dining room was closed for an event. We decided to go anyway, and be seated in the basement (Lum). We were a bit disappointed, as it was noisier and had a more “bar lounge” atmosphere. The regular dining room is more relaxing.

Tan was exactly what I wanted for my birthday! Great ambiance, good drinks and amazing service. Huge shout outs to our waitress Daniella for being so friendly and gracious---and Valentina!who served with such care telling us the ingredients in our dishes and explaining the levels of spice in the sauces!

Absolutely the worst dining experience, wrapped up in a bow of chaos. The service was a masterclass in how not to treat your guests. The hostess and manager seemed united in their mission to redefine inefficiency and unprofessionalism. We made a reservation for a birthday dinner, party of 7. I called the morning of to add one more guest and was assured it was “no problem.” Spoiler: apparently everything was a problem. We arrived about 10 mins early for our 8:15pm reservation, only to be confidently informed that our reservation was actually at 7:15. Thankfully, screenshots are forever. Once presented with confirmation, the hostess rolled her eyes so dramatically I am shocked she did not lose a contact. Possibly the same reason she could not read a reservation correctly in the first place. She then declared that accommodating 8 guests was impossible, despite my earlier call. After a prolonged debate and a visit from the manager, we were permitted our 8th human being. Victorious, we were told the table was not yet ready and sent to the bar. Cue round two of confusion. Drinks barely in hand, the hostess reappeared to inform us that we must close out our tab immediately because the table was now ready. Fine. We closed out. We returned to the front. At which point she told us the table actually was not ready and we would need to wait ten more minutes. So there we stood, apparently blocking the entrance because we were following her instructions. More eye-rolling. More attitude. Zero logic. At this point, the performance was almost impressive. The only redeeming aspect was our waiter. He was the true 10/10. The food? Average at best. The hype? Unearned. The service? Atrocious to the point of comedy. Will not return. Would not recommend. Unless you collect dining horror stories, this one is not worth the reservation confusion.

Drinks were slowwww everything else was amazing. Guac was small for $20 but very good. Just wish there's was more of it

The space is beautiful up in the dining room. And the downstairs bar is low lit while inviting. We both liked the ceviche, appetizer. And the Prawns, main dish was great. I also had a yummy margarita. Can't wait to take our friends back to Tan!

Tán was amazing! Everyone on staff was so sweet and helpful. We came here to celebrate my love's birthday and it was the best choice. The food was delicious, the drinks were delicious and the ambience was perfect. We have zero complaints 😂. We will definitely come by again. Thank you so much!

They were missing some items like Tuna, which is the base for multiple dishes on the menu. We didn't have much to share so was pretty average.
