Terrace is so cold for this nyc weather and they dont have enough heater. Waitress dont care about you if you dont speak Spanish. Food is not bad but not worth it.

We reserved (7:15) for pre-Valentine's dinner because we had many outstanding meals at Pampano and were excited to see what the same chef would do with a new iteration. We arrived at the time of our reservation, and stood at the hostess desk for 5 minutes while the she was on the phone and didn't even make eye contact. We were the only patrons visible at the time. Once we were seated, our server (also the bartender) came with menus, and we looked them over, made our choices, picked out aperitifs and wine for dinner, and gave him our order. Neither of our cava choices were available, so we ordered Prosecco. One of our appetizers arrived after 15 minutes, and the second another 10 minutes later. The ambient music wasn't unpleasant, but so loud we had trouble communicating with staff and each other. It was turned down slightly at my wife's request. Our mains arrived about 15 minutes apart and more than an hour after we were seated. We also had to flag down a manager (?) to bring the wine. Each plate that came down for us was first taken to a different table. It was pretty clear to us that the restaurant staff, while polite and apologetic for the obvious problems in the kitchen, was inadequate for the number of tables they were responsible for handling. After my wife's complaint about the service, my dessert, coffee, and a glass of prosecco for my non-dessert eating wife were comped, which we appreciated. It was clear to us that the aimed-for demographic is about 40-50 years younger than my wife and me, and while the food itself was really good, we felt out of place, a very different experience from our visits to Pampano. We won't be back.

Overall great experience! The happy hour deals are some of the best in the area and the wagyu tacos were 👌🏻 I have already recommended to some friends after just one visit!

Although the food and drinks were amazing. The service was extremely slow throughout the dinner. Had the service been faster we would have ordered more food and drink but ultimately just decided to end our night. Curious if this was due to us dining in the speakeasy and if service would be more efficiently managed upstairs. The food was amazing enough that I would like to return to test the theory by dining upstairs.

We arrived and waited at the host stand for seven minutes before anyone came to see us. A line to the door started to form because of the wait. Ambience was great, food was delicious and thoughtfully plated and executed with a high level of precision. Service was just okay. Server was friendly but not very attentive. We ordered drinks and saw them waiting on the pass at the bar for several minutes. Server asked if we wanted a refill of chips and twenty minutes later after we reminded her, they arrived after we received our entrees. When we wanted to wrap our meal up and ask for the check, it took a while to get the attention of a manager. We felt like we were forgotten about, which is unfortunate as we were celebrating a birthday.

Look, it is fancy Mexican in NYC, so you're going to pay for it. I thought it was really nickel and diming when they charged $12 for extra tortillas. I mean, come on. really? Food is good, service is good, but things like that (and $22 for each drink) will make me think twice about returning.

Amazing! Our server knew every detail about the dishes, had us laughing and genuinely felt cared for.

Lovely place. The decor and ambiance are really lovely! Food is good and service friendly and on point!

Most importantly - the Food was excellent!!!!! The service was a bit slow as the bartender was also a waiter in the downstairs area.

Food was delicious, service was terrible. Not to mention our waiter was also bartending and only checked on us 3 times in the 3 hours we were there. Waited 40 minutes for a dessert that we had to ultimately cancel because the waiter forgot about us and the dessert and we had another place to head out to. Was nice for one visit, don't think we will be returning any time soon

The atmosphere is the first thing you will notice about this place. The downstairs and upstairs are both beautiful. Service is absolutely fantastic, friendly and polite as soon as you walk in. We had a reservation but they were not busy and we could have gotten a table right away regardless. The cocktail were masterfully crafter and delicious. The service again was so fast and polite. Everything together made for an absolutely perfect dinner.

Cute spot! Reminds me of Tulum, Mexico. The guac & chips and octopus were the highlights for me. Would return again!

A great find. Beautiful ambiance, especially for Manhattan, wonderful service (kitchen was a bit slow so they comped a second tequila round), and they even brought out a dessert for my birthday. I cannot rave about this place enough. Will definitely be back.
