Cute place but a rough lunch. Ordered the hamburger a cheval which came without any bacon, egg or cheese. They did bring us those toppings but then we realized the burger was very undercooked. Sent it back and this time it was cooked medium and had the toppings but very dry, strange flavor. The chopped chicken salad was pretty solid. Would come back and try other menu items but for a $34 burger I was unimpressed.

Room of modest size, welcoming and clean. Well prepared and good quality dishes. Friendly and smiling staff. The onion soup is excellent. Prices a little high but the place is worth trying.

08/21/2024 This was the worst lunch I have ever had in Manhattan. The bill for three was over $150 and we didn't order anything special. My husband and I had the croque monsieur and the croque madame respectively. The ham reminded me of something served at Sunday brunch in a college cafeteria, and both sandwiches smelled like burnt toast. Our daughter ordered a steak frites. The steak was pretty good, but the fries tasted stale. The only saving grace was the Sancerre, but it wasn't worth $28 for the glass. If you want to spend money on mediocre food, this is your place.
I write this review in Spanish because our waiter, who definitely speaks Spanish, never bothered to ask us how the food tasted. I hope he reads this review. People like us work for our money and deserve better.

Perfect place for our anniversary dinner celebration! Everything from the appetizers to the dish of the day was absolutely delicious. The braised short rib pulled apart like butter (I didn’t need to use my knife). The interior is cozy, and makes the entire experience feel more intimate. And of course, the service was top notch. I’m excited to visit again to try their other dishes of the day!

What a wonderful spot! Stopped in for an early dinner. Great service, perfectly prepared food and great setting and ambiance. Duck Confit and Icelandic Cod were wonderful and the squash soup was world class. Small wine list but beautifully paired with the menu. We were blown away. What a gem on the UES!
