Very good upscale fast casual. Lamb hummus bowl was excellent and flavorful.
Staff was so pleasant. Food is outrageously good. I tried the Lamb, and Id order it again! It's cozy, yet worth checking out if in the Union Square area.

Great Mediterranean street food in a casual, laid-back setting. The food is delicious, affordable, and served in generous portions. They serve meals on metal trays, adding to the street food vibe, and the space features large shared tables, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

A little overpriced for the amount of food that you get but the flavor is there! I would stop by again if I’m ever in the area and looking for a quick bite.

The food was amazing. The mandarin lime juice is a must-try, so good. The hummus was very silky and smooth and had an amazing flavor. The lamb was great too. Our food came in no time, but the seating situation wasn’t great. It felt very cramped and loud. I recommend take out for Taboonette and get the hummus platter and mandarin lime juice.

Here, the pita is wonderfully chewy without being too dense, paired absolutely perfectly with the tender, juicy meat. I was really surprised that this casual of a spot had food this good. You can generally find seating if you're willing to wait a little, but it is pretty limited. The mint lemonade was refreshing but a bit too sour and 'minty' for my taste. Braised Lamb Shawarma Pita-the pita was so soft and warm, and the inside so flavorful. Large windows and wood-lined walls give a cozy atmosphere to this place. Orders are placed at the counter from/with friendly employees, and food is delivered in short order.

Nice place and all, but honestly, the food was quite mid. The cauliflower was undercooked and underseasoned, the eggplant was too slimy, and the salad was overpowered with rocket leaves. The quinoa was good and the hummus was alright, but I wouldn't rate the place as even above average in the Mediterranean food I've had in the US leave alone New York.

The ambience of this restaurant is one of a kind and the mint lemonade is to die for. The lamb over rice left a lot to be desired. The halal carts around the block had more flavor and bang for your buck.
