The Food was incredible . We had the crispy fish and seared fish tacos. So goooddd. We also had guacamole and the corn esquite. 10/10 . Oh and the shrimp tacos has a crispy layer of cheddar in it! Also 10/10 . The restaurant is very spacious and has a nice big outdoor seating area for the nice weather coming up . Coming back for cinco de mayo. Matt the manager was very accommodating

I went to this restaurant with my GF and the staff were clearly service professionals, but even more than that. They were kind in a way that made me feel like family almost. The food was AMAZING! Everything was cooked to perfection and this is definitely saying something seeing as how I am the pickiest eater I know. The chicken and steak were chefs kiss for sure. The ambiance makes you feel like you are in an authentic Mexican taco location in Mexico and high the food only continues to prove as it taste so good. Definitely come here with the family if you get an opportunity. Nothing short of delicious and pleasant.

Food was awesome! Depa was awesome and honestly one of the best servers I ever had. Her attention to detail and customer service is over the top. I’m waiting for her to come back because I know she’s away at school, so I can come back!! I’ll be asking for her next time.

Absolutely impeccable service and best mex on upper west side ! Depa , is the most attentive server I have experienced in a long time ..true attention to detail , with a smile ! She make the experience even better! I recommend Tacombi UWS as a go to mex spot ! I host events at Tacombi and the staff and Matt could not be more helpful, professional and responsive! Its not only my go to mex on the upper west side but its my spot for business presentations. I cant say enough about the food, service and staff. Thanks Matt and the rest of the crew for making Tacombi the place i recommend to all looking for a great mex meal and amazing service! See you soon!

Terrific Mexican food in the neighborhood. The place is huge so you won't have any trouble getting a table. The spicy margaritas are delish and I loved the birria tacos. Can't wait to return.
Great experience, was headed out of town and needed a quick bite before going. This place is fantastic.Servers are excellent and did not realize that it was Taco Tuesday and they let us know that we could add an extra taco! Umm, yes please!!And they did not disappoint. Sauce was amazing, just perfect. Different styles tasty, everything done correct,tidy,and spacious for the feast we had.

Crispy fish tacos en de taco met zoete aardappel waren erg lekker. De classic quesadilla was mwah. Voor de prijs had ik iets grotere porties verwacht. De muziek stond overigens veel te hard: we konden elkaar amper verstaan.

I believe Tacombi is doing great in the way they hire their staff.My first experience with Tacombi was at their location at 79th street and Amsterdam Ave. Their manager was a Latino man, who I observed going out of his way a few times to help on the floor and to greet customers even delivery workers. Unfortunately I do not remember his name but he must still be there since he does an amazing job.At this establishment, I ate both a chicken and steak quesadilla. The chicken and steak were flavorful and it is something that I would definitely order again.I also visited Tacombi on 70th street between Third and Second Ave. This time, I only went for a beer but I observed their hostess working the floor while taking care of the delivery workers. Every interaction was completed with effectiveness and a smile.Kudos to Tacombi and their belief in customer service.

We've been visiting Tacombis around the city for years and have always been more than satisfied with their friendly service and good, authentic food. But we hosted a private party at the Upper West Side location that totally exceeded all expectations. Excellent and responsive staff and our entire multi-generational group of wedding guests said it was one of the highlights of the weekend. Thank you Matthew and team!
