It was such a great experience!
The service was kind and attentive, and the food was really good, very close to what you can find in Mexico, especially with touches like the agua de jamaica and the Mexican beer Pacifico.
I was just passing through New York, but if I come back, I’ll definitely stop by this amazing place again, both for the atmosphere and the quality of the food.

Uziel is our favorite Tacombi waiter. Always kind, attentive, on top of everything! He always welcomes us with a smile and is very efficient.

As regulars at Tacombi (all Manhattan locations) we can attest that sometimes the food can be a hit or miss (sometimes it is incredibly delicious and sometimes food is cold, they have served us the fattest and chewiest birria - not nice -) but lately it seems like they have improved a bit and it’s more consistent.

My husband and I have been coming to this location a few times a month ever since we moved the UES 2 years ago. We’ve never had a disappointing experience here, the food is always incredible (corn esquites, crispy fish taco and watermelon juice is a must - they’re all incredible), and the staff is so lovely and kind (shout out our favs Erika & Daniel!!!). I’m kind of shocked at the 1 star reviews because that is not representative of this location at all.
