We had an enjoyable meal at Tacombi. Lovely tacos, chips and guacamole. Friendly staff too. Can highly recommend the mango margaritas which were delicious. Only let down was the churros for dessert, very dry, didn’t taste like they were cooked fresh.

Edit: Just want to clarify, while we used to live near the LIC location, my review is for the restaurant and manager at West 24th St.
My husband and I used to live close to the LIC Tacombi and really enjoy this small chain's food. We were back in the city for two night's of concerts. The first night we were short on time and came here. We mentioned we were trying to make a show in Brooklyn. Before we had even finished placing our order, they had brought out the guacamole and chips we had literally ordered about 30-45 seconds prior. I've never had service that fast in my life. Food was fantastic as always. Our server was wonderful. The manager came around and checked on every table. We were out in less than 25 minutes and easily made our concert. The second night we went to go hit a sushi place that had too long of a wait. So we said, hey, let's just go back to Tacombi. Another great meal, fast and courteous service. Manager also came around to every table that night and recognized us. They treat a fast, laid back restaurant like a high end restaurant in terms of quality and service. Also they have been great with my gluten and dairy allergies; never had an allergen hit. And Taco Tuesday is a great value.

Gorgeous place to share Mexican dishes with friends
We were in NYC for the weekend. We were trying to find a late night place to eat and stumbled upon this place. And what an absolute pleasure. The food was great and so were the prices. The host was absolutely amazing. We had two young boys with us and they brought them out some corn and nachos. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Cool spot to linger in, you wont have a choice Server was so inattentive I thought it was a self service situation. 1 bottle of room temp water for a 4 top and never a re fill
Drinks took five ever (and they only have tequila or beer no other spirits) - and they'll look at you weird for asking
Food came out dreadfully slow. Guac was fast and fine Al pastor was dreadfully dry. Birria was just greasy and flavorless The ribeye deluxe taco was phenomenal And I wanted to order more of them but by the time my server came back I just wanted to leave.
Im disappointed in the person that suggested it honestly
