Micro tacos. Like those Trader Joe's mini tacos. So tiny. Lil baby appetizer tacos. Honey I Shrunk the Tacos. $20 for Lunchable size tacos. Maybe don't get the tacos.
Queso Fundido was good tho.

The food were freshly made, and atmosphere was packed but spacious enough for me to converse with my partner, and enjoy the liveliness of the room

Fast service, but not rushed. Ordered tacos de birra, they turned out to be small tacos not standard size tacos. Drinks were priced well, and tasted good! Highly recommend the margaritas!

I NEVER do this, however I’m so dissatisfied, disappointed and will not be returning!
I came here with my husband, we ordered our appetizers and waited, waited and waited for our waitress to check on us. My husband did not like his soup, and as the waitress was in eyes view of us from the bar and did not follow up.
We also never got offered more chips to finish our Guac. When the waitress finally came over, my husband said he didn’t like the soup and she just took the plate and walked away. Didn’t ask why he didn’t like it, or if there was something else he would want.
We then decided to ask for the check and leave. Please avoid!
The food was not flavorful. Great drinks and guacamole but everyone at our table agreed that the food was very bland. All 8 of us were unhappy with our food choices. The menu lacks authentic Mexican flavored dishes and you also get served very little food. The food is more about looking pretty than actual flavor. We asked about substitutes on side dishes and the waiter said ”NO” on any sides without even discussing our issues. Was not even concerned with anyone’s allergies as someone in our party was a lil concerned.just a big NO across the table. Just not worth it. Plenty more and much better Mexican restaurants to even consider even going back.Reasonably priced as you get very little food.

Last time here was excellent. This time around meal and service was below average. Had an elote that was very dry, guacamole that needed some salt and suadero tacos that had no flavor. The restaurant wasn't full at this time but no service to check on us for waters/drinks as the evening progressed. Let me down, no flavor town.

I hate to leave a negative review but
this one is necessary. The food quality and portion sizes were not commensurate with the price.
The carnitas were extremely dry and the portion was very small (attached is a photo of the $26 carnitas, there is barely enough to fill one small tortilla). The tortilla soup tasted like Campbell's tomato soup, and the quesadilla was a melted mess with no flavor.
As a long-time resident of the neighborhood, I am passionate about supporting local restaurants. However, my experience with your restaurant was unfortunately not positive.
I hope that the restaurant will consider improving the quality and portion size of their food in the future. However, I am not optimistic that this will occur.

My partner and I have been loyal patrons of Tacuba for many years, making it our go-to spot almost every Sunday since 2020. We originally sought out a restaurant with outdoor seating during the pandemic, and Tacuba quickly became our favorite as the city quieted down.
The team at Tacuba—Vanessa, Ara, Fernando, Carlos, and now Gabbie and manager Urri—are nothing short of exceptional. I rarely write reviews, but when you find something this good, it’s worth sharing.
If you’re looking for excellent food, top-notch service, a welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices, Tacuba is the place to be. The food and drinks have consistently impressed us over the years. We've brought many friends here, and they’ve all loved it, especially the frozen Margaritas, Guacamole, Burritos, and Tacos.
But what truly sets Tacuba apart is the incredible service. Vanessa, in particular, is simply AMAZING! The entire team knows how to make every visit special, and that's why we keep coming back.

Service, good. Food, good. Cocktail, good. But over $50 (meal, tax, tip) for 3 smallish enchiladas de Pollo en mole (no sides) and a single cocktail is a bit much.
That particular plato fuerte was more like a plato mediano. It tasted good, but 3 smallish enchiladas on a plate does not make much of a meal. Sure, I could add a side of rice and beans, but at $7 for just rice and beans, that makes it well over $60 for a single person to have a decent meal, and there are plenty of places around here I can have a great meal for under $50. So for me, they're just losing out on the value equation.

Tasty tacos and friendly staff
Order their avocado salad with chicken and it was quite delicious! Portions are more on the conservative side, but quality makes up for it.
