If you like margaritas and Mexican food this is the restaurant you need to visit in Hell's kitchen. On the east side of 9th avenue between 53rd and 54th Street this gem has the best margaritas at $20 and they're worth every penny. The food is amazing. Service is quick and the waiters and waitresses are both courteous and entertaining. Two people can have two margaritas each and the entree for about $120 including the tip. If you visit only one restaurant in Hell's kitchen this year make it this place.

What I love from this place is the food and the time. I always have a good experience. However, today my dinner, it wasn't that pleasant. It was my first time sitting at the bar for dinner. My friend and I ordered only food, not drinks. The bartender who was a lady never came to check how my friend and I were doing, there were also two other bartenders and they as well never asked if we needed anything. It seems like they only check on people who order drinks. Like I said food and time it was great, service not great. I will come back again but I will not sit at the bar. As a fellow server who also works at a restaurant, I was very disappointed. I don't recommend the bar to those who are not going to have drinks.

Went to this place only because the place we wanted to go to (Normas across the street) which by the way, if you can get into, go there instead. But it was an hour long wait and we saw this spot so we thought we'd check it out. I can honestly say this place should be embarrassed and ashamed of how small their entrées are. The tacos weren't even normal size tortillas. They literally used mini taco tortillas. I got the steak and I can say that I don't think that there was even an ounce of steak in my tacos. It was supposed to have avocado in there, and it looked like someone spit a piece of avocado into it, and they gave me the smallest wedge of a lime, and I asked three times for limes, and no one brought it . If you're gonna charge $20 for three tacos, at least put something in them, because that's just bogus. Oh, and their beans are not beans at all. It's literally just the Juice that comes from the beans. What a disappointment. I also got a frozen margarita, and it tasted like it got poured out of the sewer. The tables are unbelievably small, We were uncomfortable and unsatisfied. Went to Norma's across the street after once it died down and had a real dinner. Go anywhere but here.

This is a lame review for record-keeping purposes only, as I was so full from my work happy hour that by the time I got to Tacuba, I could only handle the Ensalada de Aguacate. It was nice, but hardly Mexican fare. Will update when I've had a chance to try actual food not consumed by rabbits.

Drinks were great! Service was wonderful. All the staff we encountered were personable and fun. Food is mediocre at best, especially for the price. Great place to go with friends.

Dietary restrictions: I have multiple friends with peanut and tree nut allergies and they are always incredibly thoughtful and thorough to make sure the food is safe and delicious for everyone in the party.

The environment, atmosphere and food was amazing. The only downfall was the waitress, lack of service towards the customers.

I was here in the middle of the pandemic when they were open for outdoor seating. And it was yummy then. I was back yesterday. And it is yummy now. Don't let the size of the tacos fool you. Every single one of them is loaded with flavor and spice. In a good way. Brother got the strawberry margarita.yummy yummy. Hubby got a Deki in a bottle. Perfect for him. Get the guacamole. Get the kale that spicy as a side dish. Get anything on the menu and I think you'll be happy.
