Been here 4 times. I declare take 31 to be the top one on my list of Korean food in New York! The creamy udon pasta is super delicious and is my favorite dish. The creamy sauce is very rich and you won’t get tired of it even if you eat the whole plate. We have tried all three kinds of rice balls, and our favorite is the tuna fish rice ball. The 5 big pieces are full of sincerity and are so satisfying when paired with refreshing kimchi; the honey fried chicken has a sweet coating, and the mustard sauce it comes with is even more remarkable, retaining the mustard flavor without being spicy; the yogurt-flavored Rice wine has more flavor than banana flavor! It’s especially cool; the pork neck meat will be a little fatty; the corn tortillas have caramel adhering to the corn kernels, which are sweet and crispy, especially delicious! !

Ambiance (4/5): The back dining area inside is a bit dark but not too loud. There’s a front and back dining area. I didn’t feel cramped at all. You can see the kitchen from the front dining area.Service (5/5): They seated us without having the full party and we never felt like we were being rushed out of there. There was always someone available to take our order or help with anything. I like how the servers also instructed us for what to do with some of the dishes (e.g., break the egg, or eat the noodles first, or provide context to the dish)Slushy Soju – Orange Mango (5/5): The little bottle definitely packs a punch! We shared a bottle among our party of 4 and it was enough to sip on throughout the meal.Braised Pork Belly (4/5): The pork belly was super tender! The braising seasoning did not stand out very much but tasted great with the heaping topping of scallions and the spicy Chef’s sauce.Rolled-up Cod Roe Omelette (4/5): Be sure to eat this dish while it’s hot! It’s a very unique dish w a thin layer of cod roe within a rolled-up egg. The sauce drizzled on top gives it another element of umami.Spicy Soft Tofu Soup (4/5): I was a big fan of the tofu soup as there was a lot of depth of flavors. The portions were plentiful and there a lot of variety in the dish.Short Rib Chapaguri (2/5): The chunks of short rib were pretty tough to chew. The Jjajang sauce did not stand out as anything special.Wasabi Cream Chicken (3/5): There a nice crunch to the chicken nuggets. I could not really taste the hints of honey butter or mustard. The wasabi whipped cream was very light in flavor.I would definitely come again to try their other dishes!

The best cod roe udon in my life! So delicious and usually I don’t like creamy pasta ? We also had the white seafood soup with udon noodles and that was divine!!! So much seafood flavor and it had a natural sweetness to it that I love so much !! I want to recreate it at home so bad…

Super super tasty. We're staying at the Arlo right beside so it's perfect for any late check ins or late night drinks when it's less busy near last call.Got the soju slushes, perfect cooldown for any spicy dishes and really fun bottling. We ordered the honey garlic chicken with whipped wasabi cream. The wasabi cream was so creative, absolutely delightful presentation, lightness and flavour. The seafood udon was very tasty. Closer to a frutti del mare in flavour, so unexpected but definitely welcome. Slightly cheesy, garlicy, seafood. Also a nice contrast to any spicy dishes.Highly recommended. So yummy. Service was attentive as well.

All I have to say is get the Makgulli because it's freaking delicious, specifically the Chestnut Makgulli ($17). Comes in a 23 ounce glass so this is for sure something you share with the table, not consumed by yourself. Although you could if you really wanted to.

This place really sucks, they asked us to finish our meal before certain time. The whole time there’s no services unless we asked them. And they kept asking whether we’re finished or not. In the end they charged higher tip than we signed.
