If you’re thinking about ordering takeout from here.. think again! 2 weeks in a row I placed an order online and it said it was confirmed, drove to the restaurant and they said they never got the order and they aren’t taking any more at this time. Figure it out!!

I went and purchased a ramen that was very plain and made my stomach hurt, I asked for it to be taken off the bill because I barely even ate it. Then he offer something else at discount so I told him, when I asked for the bill he charged me for two items, one I didn’t even eat and one he said was discounted but wasn’t. Horrible service and ramen but great sushi

Came across this spot while I was waiting for the bus coming from Baltimore to go see family in Albany. I ordered the shrimp teriyaki lunch special..man when I tell you this is the best Japanese cuisine I have had in yearssss! Highly recommend, you will not regret it! They have a loyal customer when I come up to see my family from now on, it is worth going out of my way!

Good food at very good prices. Their food seems fairly simple, teriyaki chicken, etc., but they do a good enough job of it, and for New York, the prices are great! I also love that the the dishes we ordered had a good amount of fibrous vegetables included!Bathrooms: They were decent.

I ordered takeout for Monday lunch and the food was ready quite soon. Rolls were beautifully made, not too much rice and good amount of fish. Sashimi was moderate size. Fish was fresh and good color. Lunch special is pretty good - 3 rolls with an app for less than $15. The sashimi special was good too.Nothing special, but a stellar place. I'd return!

Takumi has become one of my LES/Chinatown sushi favorites. They don't pack the maki rolls with a lot of rice, the slices of sashimi are thick. I love that they still offer lunch menu prices even on the weekends. Everything has always been fresh.

This was by far the worst food I've had for take out, spending close to $100 for 2 bento boxes, salmon teriyaki and gyoza. The teriyaki chicken had the texture of something that wasn't chicken, it was rubbery and slimy. The salmon was over cooked, hard and had a weird taste which made it inedible. The only thing I enjoyed was the salad.
Just ok. Yellow tail roll was suuuuperFishy. Specify tuna ok. Good lunch deal. My friend loved hers!

They messed up my entire order. When I called they were extremely rude to me. They hung up the phone multiple times, said I am d*** and mocked me. I wouldn’t eat here again.

I order the Chicken Tariaki diner , I got a poor version of what they show you will get , not what they advertise at all .. very disappointing

This place pleasantly surprised me and my friend! We came in on a Wednesday night around 7pm as the only Dine-In customers. Usually I'm a bit skeptical when I see empty restaurants during traditionally busy dinner hours, but my friend wanted to try this place -- we gave it a shot. And it was so worth it! We each got the Dinner Bento and it was probably one of the best bentos I've ever had due to 1. value (portions were huge and filling, we had a ton of leftovers after) and 2. QUALITY. Sashimi and sushi in bento boxes are very easy to miss on the quality scale, but Takumi did not disappoint at all and set the bar. The sashimi was fresh and tasted great, as well as the Spicy Tuna roll (which was STUFFED with spicy tuna). My salmon teriyaki entree was cooked very well, and shumai that came with the meal was a pleasant added benefit. I was going to give this place originally 4 stars due to a slight miss on service (we weren't greeted or given menus when we came, nor given utensils and napkins at first), but the staff was overall nice and the food was so great that I'm definitely coming back.
