Celebrated my birthday here, had the kindest most thoughtful waitress. The chefs were impeccable in craft and hospitality, the quality of sushi was excellent. I WILL be back 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Had a lovely omakase dinner. BYOB is the cherry on top. Chefs were knowledgeable and it’s definitely a fun date night spot. Favorite bites of the night were the hamachi appetizer with grape tomato and the unagi with foie gras. Already have recommended this to my friends!

Takumi Omakase is the best affordable choice for an omakase experience in NYC. They offer a $89 15 course omakase and a cheaper and a cheaper off menu omakase for slightly less and two less courses. Each hand crafted course is meticulously prepared in front of you and explained. Everything we tasted was extremely delicious and fresh. The flavors were unique and thoughtfully constructed with flavors and texture playing wonderfully together. You can ask for the amount of wasabi to be adjusted to your preference too. Takumi also offers complementary sake which was delicious.

Perfect dining experience. Jah (think that’s how you spell it) is the man. Chef (didn’t catch his name) was a wizard behind the counter. This place has extremely high attention to detail, and amazing service - can’t say enough good things. Full stomach and full heart - will be back

Such a good omakase every time, you can't go wrong. Make sure you sit at the bar, makes the experience the best. Staff is attentive, food is delicious, timing is perfect (about an hour), price is right.
This was amazing! The omakase was reasonably priced and the quality of everything was superb. My favorites were the unique, unagi, oyster, and A5 wagyu. Out chef Wei was so kind and communicative. I also liked the fact that you could order a la carte after the omakase.

Affordable fresh Omakase in Manhattan! Highly recommend for its selection of fish and A5 Wagyu from Japan, and its price point.

Loved it! My favorite omakase experience ever so far. So good, so fresh, and every dish felt unique. Also such kind and hospitable employees! Really loved our experience there.
Bar seats were too compact. Food was okay in general but I expected more quality given the price range and compared to other < $100 omakase places. Service was great
