In my opinion one of the best bagels in NYC. I’ve had the salt and pumpernickel. Just the flavor is pure New York. Crunchy outside, soft inside, not too dense. Obviously many great bagel choices in NYC, plenty of bad ones too, but Tal is always solid.

Very cute bagel, deli and pastry shop. Very decent bagels. They also have amazing variety of spreads to go on bagels. There was even chicken liver pate among all. Food was fresh, and staff very nice.

Dead fly in my chicken salad
Delicious bagels and smoked fish wow !!! Little pricey
This is by far a health hazard they use a knife to get the bagels from the upper part of the of the rack. And they all have on one damn glove which is stupid. So I went in order three bagels two with cream cheese. The guy dug his hand in my bagel the one with out the glove then scooped cream cheese on a knife dropped it between two bowls grabbed it up and put it on my damn bagel!!!! I was shocked I just don’t understand the 🤢 nastiness I just walked out and left the order. good thing I didn’t pay yet. I will never ever come here ever again I will always go to (Liberty Bagels) they are the best in the city trust me made fresh and taste so good.

We were looking for a little snack in between. Tal Bagels came highly recommended to us; but somehow it wasn't cool.
It wasn't particularly bad, but the bagel wasn't convincing. We had a regular bagel with cream cheese and spring onions for $7 (!). For such a crisp price, the bagel was surprisingly not crunchy.
Maybe I have to go there again another day.
